Vanishing Point
audaciousness29 March 2019
Manifest's "Vanishing Point" is excellent - the best episode since the Pilot. I can honestly say that I wasn't bored during a single moment of this episode, and I found it to be quite compelling and well-written.

A couple episodes ago, we were introduced to a few new storylines: Michaela's visions and the all-knowing "Major" giving orders and manipulating Autumn into spying on the Stones in order to get to Cal (the "Holy Grail"). I was positive that this storyline would be as dragged out as the missing passengers, but to my immense surprise and delight, they started to wrap it up almost immediately and deliver some much-needed answers!

So far, the second half of the season has been loads better than the first, and it's showing a chance for redemption for "Manifest" - as long as the storylines continue to be full-speed ahead without the family drama and sappiness.

Great but I last scene could have been better

Warning: Spoilers
Great episode, as good if not slightly better than the previous one.

Bad point
  • 2017 and 2018 are a day away on the 31st December 2017. Couldn't they have printed the magazine 31st December 2016.
  • Michaela miraculously was able to find the cabin without be followed and getting a cold
  • How are the Stones able to talk together in a room when there is a live missing person investigation going on and Ben hasn't been interviewed/questioned

Good points
  • Grace wasn't as annoying.
  • We got to see the major, wow
  • Gerard was trusting
  • The script was good
  • Another twist

Was pleased with Vanishing Point

I love this show, but did anyone else notice he put wood on the fire without getting burnt or was my mind playing tricks on me?

Now it's getting exciting, the not knowing who is who, what is what, where is where. Just grace is very unlikable.

Soap opera only, no sci fi at all, this episode!

More frantic running around, more relationship development, more garbage, amateur MacGuffin teasers of *new* mysteries to be solved - just like in every episode before, and they never get solved or even readdressed!

The 10 rates by the series staff aren't fooling anyone. This show is getting worse.

Decent Episode [7.5/10]

Warning: Spoilers
Reaction / Review for Manifest Season 1 Episode 12: Episode 11 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. Autumn gets exposed, it was about time. I hope now that Grace has more information she will stop being super annoying. What happened to the pilot though? Grace keeps causing drama, it's so annoying, I wish she would just stop talking all together. At least now Autumn is willing to help. Who is this mysterious man that Cal wants to help? So we finally see the Major, ok. It's about time for Grace to realize that Ben did everything he could to save Cal and the family. This episode wasnt as good as the previous ones but still good, my rating is 7.5/10.

Incredibly, frustratingly vague

Ben Stone's words are very appropriate for describing this show. Somehow this episode is actually captivating, but I know that it will be completely irrelevant by the next episode. So many of the storylines in this series have been abandoned as soon as they're introduced in my opinion. At least there was a mystery/action element in the story.
