With the title "The Day After Tomorrow: Deleted Scenes", there is really not too much to add here honestly what this project is about. You read the name of the film this linked to and also what to expect here and this is exactly what you get. the perhaps most surprising aspect is that this was seemingly not released before November 2018, so less than a year ago now that I am writing this review, but nonetheless all from a 2004 movie that then has its 15th anniversary now. This was back in the days when Emmerich was still a big thing in Hollywood, even if critics hated him back then already, and the days when Dennis Quaid was the lead in Hollywood movies despite the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal also in the cast. Oh well, I cannot really say anything here about the TDAT as I don#t think I've seen it or if I have, then I have forgotten pretty much everything and I think it is not a particularly good movie. The scenes included in here during these approximately 16 minutes do not get me any more curious either honestly. The best idea is to really skip it, but I guess you don't really need me to make a positive or negative recommendation here, but just decide taking into account how much you liked the film this is from. Well.. not from actually and then perhaps watch it right after the film. It's tough for me to say something positive here. I guess the fact that what you see in here is not (considerably) worse than all that is included in the film can be seen as positive. But still it is kinda good they left it out because it is a really long movie I think. The beaver guy from Suits is also always fun. And yeah the biggest delight is really the stunning Emmy Rossum before the age of 20. Not enough though to watch the entire thing here. Thumbs down.
