Dance, then, wherever you may be
frukuk9 October 2023
Is there ever an inappropriate place -- or time -- to dance? Perhaps you will find an answer to that question, if you decide to watch this film.

The storyline (suggested by Anonymous) states that this is a "dance-drama". That led me to believe this would be a piece of interpretative dance, but it seems "merely" to be a pretty predictable family drama with some dance rehearsals (group or solo) thrown in at various intervals.

I suspect this is not really a "dance-drama". It is a pretty standard family drama in which various family members feel their own needs are not being met. Dance is really just there, I think, to stress the relative importance Charlotte places on her dance career compared to her obligations to her family.

Possibly worth watching to (attempt to) answer the question I asked at the beginning of this review, but otherwise it has nothing novel to offer.
