Could have been Superior

To create conscious all empowering AI we don't need the people who created this video. That would mean instant annihilation of human beings, for sure! No intelligence was used in making this project.

The underlying message, however, is true. Which message they wanted to portray remains doubtful, as the video had a multiple purpose: to sensationalize, to frighten, to impress, to overpower, to theorize, or to show a possible outcome if AI is structured on human knowledge.

The KISS principle would have been more effective to give insight into this problem.

Must wear Aluminum Foil Hat!

Hey you! Yes, you! Do you believe that the earth is flat? That we are governed by reptilian overlords? Afraid of chem-trails?

If so, then this should be a real treat for you. I have rarely seen such a collection of unfounded and harebrained vomit made into a "documentary".

I guess somebody wanted to show off his collection of "futuristic background clips" from stock-sites and just had to fill it up with some pointless copy. Still it took them only 10 minutes until those clips were recycled again and again.

Also don't expect any useful or even new information about robots.

Cure for Insomnia

If all the knowledge gained in this dreary documentary could be condensed into useful information, this could have been a 3 minute You Tube clip. With stock slides that looked like that they were from a recruiting company to WWII Nazi Germany newsreel, there wasn't enough interesting content to keep an amphetamine junkie awake. I could also mention the narrator with his monotone Northern British accent and boring delivery, which would have been better suited in a film about how cricket balls are made. Oh, I did mention it. I will also mention that you should not waste your time watching this.

Horrible

Just absolute garbage from start to finish. The narration is pretty bad, but I can't really blame him because nobody would be able to make the writing in this sound interesting.

It appears the director has found his niche. Gullible folks that latch on to things like flat earth, chemtrails and autism from vaccines. The next big thing to end humanity is robots!!! Spooky eh? You're better off watching old clips of Alex Jones than trying to watch this tripe. It really is that bad.

Images are not good enough, but well researched and written narrative
zuloworks8 January 2019
It is to assume hat people who find this film boring have already fallen to be victims of the attraction economy; their attention span is obviously not good enough to follow the argument of the film. It's not on the same level with Chris Marker, Peter Mettler of Adam Curtis but fond enough to be seen in those lines.

Yes, the "Getty-Images" are really really horrible. It is not understandable why the decision to use such material has been made. Matters of financing? It's a symptom of the historical moment we live in that such a quality essay has not been produced by responsible TV people ...

Too many bias reviewers on IMDB.
karmelian-9 February 2019
Yes! the information presented in this film may annoy or offend those viewers that chose only to accept information that is bottle fed to them autonomously through mainstream media. Nevertheless, others may find the information in this film enlightening and educational.

Yes! voice narration paired with explanatory imaging may not be have been the best option. Perhaps this film is better suited to an audio broadcasting medium i.e. Podcast.

No! this film does not deserve a rating of 1/10 as submitted by other reviewers. I understand this may not appeal to some viewers but we must review accordingly to consider EVERY aspect of a presentation. Far too many reviewers ratings are emotionally charged by attachment to their beliefs, gender, pride etc. As a result, we are now commonly seeing absolute ratings of 1 or 10 stars.
