Great movie!

Normally I have zero interest in spectator sports esp. football let alone rugby, but this I randomly came across this movie and started watching it based on its unusually relatively high ratings- and I gotta say it's a great movie for anyone to watch regardless of your interest in sports, period. I thought it was inspiring, compelling and exciting to watch from start to finish. I don't normally if ever give movie reviews (this is a first), but I was just so surprised how good it was because god knows I could care less about rugby or any other sport themed anything for that matter.
check it out - you won't be disappointed!

OMG should be 1.9 not 9.1

OMG how did this get a 9.1 rating. Now I'm in shock . It was the most predictable , juvenile , poor movie I've seen in a long time. The dialogue was a string of clichés. Watch it if you want but understand it's no 9.1
Terrible

This movie is so inspirational snd worth the watch. You'll definitely fall in love with this movie like myself, even if you're not into rugby or any kind of sports for that matter. This is hands down one of my favorite sports movies, ever!
4 because somehow it's funny

I'm 100% sure there is something wrong with this score of 8,6. Must be some bots or the director having lots of friends.. I watched the full movie hoping at some point this would turn into a 8,6 movie, but it went from bad to worse. Actually I started to enjoy it again near the end. The storyline and acting was so bad it made me laugh, which made me increase the score from 1 to 4
Tale as old as time

This story has been told many times in different situations. Like Broken Arrow before it, and others, a group of disenfranchised young people with challenging backgrounds take on an elite minority sport to build their confidence and give discipline.
The lead character disconnected from their family with other opportunites to escape. The experienced old time come mentor. The group of characterful unrelated young people who band together to support each other.
The story is cliched, the script standard, the acting is good across the board, the filmography is Saturday matinee.
However, why do we have to have special effects and gun fights when we can have something wholesome and feel good. RUGBY!
There are the usual lessons in this movie but they are told around a sport which prides itself on community, respect and inclusivity.
I enjoyed it for what it is and not for what I wanted it to be.

A disgrace to the story

Being inspired by a true story makes this film even worse. I feel sorry for the people who were excited to see their story told. The writing is quite horrible. There are lines that don't fit the scene and others that are hilariously far from reality. Quite a poor effort on those involved with this one.
Awesome Movie!
