Star Jimmy Barnes wore a kilt to this film's World Premiere signifying his Scottish ancestral roots. Part of the doco shot in Glasgow, Scotland.
Jimmy Barnes donated the royalties from this documentary film's soundtrack album sales to charity.
Jimmy Barnes has said: "Everyone wanted to do a TV miniseries like Molly or Olivia Newton-John and I told them it is just not happening. I wanted it to be true to the book. We're dealing with sensitive issues, sensitive to me, my family, my siblings, my friends and I didn't want to glamorise it or play down the gravity of the violence of abuse."
A Q&A with Jimmy Barnes and director Mark Joffe was held at the conclusion of the film's August 2018 World Premiere in Melbourne, Australia - and this is included on the Australian DVD/Blu-Ray editions.
Jimmy Barnes was nervous to see how his life played out in this documentary.
