Negreanu wins small pots and isn't calling behind starting out this session, he got Antonius to bet into him on the river when he had a flush and then in another hand he got him to bet into him when he had trips, checking to Antonius with strong hands seems to be effective as he doesn't often check regardless of what he has. Push up betting this episode, not good. Antonius keeps trying to get an extra bet on with the sucker who would bet against Laak and Antonio, unsuccessfully. Hachem outplays the opponent in a four on the board situation again, both players have nothing, he bets 3000 and Laak raises to 13200 and Hachem calls and then leads 20500 on the river and Laak folds. It's odd to just call when you're going to be the first to act and the board isn't going to change and then lead, because you might as well have re-raised on the previous street, it's something an amateur would do with a really big hand that doesn't want the opponent to fold by raising but realizes they're first to act and have to bet to get any value for it, but Joe's not an amateur, I guess it's his way of telling the opponent he has a hand that can call and isn't just raising, he did the same sort of thing verse Lederer before, it's interesting. Less side betting and more poker's required.
