Whose side are you on?

Warning: Spoilers
Juliana masters Tagomi-style time travel just as Smith gains the ability to pursue her. But as the episode closes, I can't help but wonder whether Smith will stick to his mission or be changed by the victorious 1964 America and his encounter with a living, non-Hitler youth Thomas. That's foreshadowed by several items here including Abendsen's comments about changes in one universe affecting the others.

A resurgence
Indy-117 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I almost gave up on this series after the confusing and slow pace of the first three episodes of this season. I'm glad I stuck it out. From beginning to end, the story was engaging and the direction was interesting and entertaining. All 4 seasons have incredible production and music value, but so many episodes meander with boring plot lines and cringy dialogue. This episode made it worth the wait.

Another comment mentioned the alternate John Smith, and I was anticipating a meet between the both of them. It will be interesting to see what happens to John when he goes back to see his son in the next episode. The dinner scene was marvelous, introducing another diabolical German and the hilarious dialogue of Himmler with the girls. Well done!

Too soon

Warning: Spoilers
I was really liking the alternate version of John Smith. They killed off his character too fast. I get why they had to, but I feel they could have spent more time with the story on the development of what happened in the alternate reality and spend less time focusing on the BCR. The BCR was not a thing until this season and it is taking a lot of focus away from the story lines that have been developing in seasons 1-3.

They skipped a whole year too fast. Could have made another season to cover the story better.

Juliana as an Aikido master... not
dierregi5 September 2021
Juliana is shown in the first episode as beating all the guys in her Aikido class, and she's still teaching Aikido in the alt-world, which then begs the question of why she doesn't escape being captured thanks to some Aikido moves.

Maybe because there are too many meddling scriptwriters and nobody cares to be consistent with the spirit of the original novel, because too busy complying with political correct rules.
