I was kinda bummed about the first two episodes this season - they just seemed all over the place and like Doc and Jackson were pulling the story straight out of their rear, but this episode really started putting things together for me. So many old mysteries explained, some outright and others subtly. Loved it.

Best episode in the series. Honestly my favorite episode of television. The way so many arc plots get woven together seamlessly and pay off in a single episode is remarkable. The fact that it's episode 3 in the season adds to the effect. The climax of the show and it comes out of nowhere!
When this episode was released there was extra pathos because there was such delay between seasons. The callbacks from 20 years of episodes were so fun to see. Upon re-watch, you would never know there was any latency. The episodes flow together and attention to detail is evident. I really cannot recommend this episode enough.
