Once upon a time in a video rental store
orosz-jozsef1 March 2020
An admirable documentary about those good old times when hell-bent moviegoers became VHS lovers. This funny and melancholic piece depicts the Hungarian version of Blockbuster video store (in Hungarian: Odeon Videotéka, a video rental store) spanning two decades of its existence. Not only were these video stores so popular in Budapest, Hungary, but they also formed a common ground both for intellectuals and average Joes. Odeon took a village to raise the spirit of community.

Analogue Streaming

Epic documentary about the analogue streaming in the 90's! Based on real life! Hungarian directors, musicians and celebrities telling their own stories and first hand experiences of what it was like to live with the VHS in the last century. How the video library born, works and died! How was the life before Netflix, HBO, torrent, N core etc. It was a part of our movie culture. Maybe you forgot, maybe you weren't even alive then, however, if you like time travel, then this movie is for you. "The world was a fine place........ just there........" Watch it! I hope you will like it! Greetings from Budapest!
