Original version is much better!

This 2008 version actually made me less impressed,as i enjoyed it but didn't come close to loving it.Pong Nawat brought out the life into the character Monthai Mahartawet, his optimistic smile just charmed me to my toes!I love his chemistry with Peung Kunya (although Ae and Ek had stronger chemistry) who played the golden-hearted Beeyachat Prakaiprik. It was the actress first and only female lead role,as Peung left the thai film-industry after its success.Beeyachat was so adorable when she smiled, but it frustrated me when she had to cry everytime Monthai confronted her.I know that she was tormented by her masters, and that she was learned by early age that being grateful is the most important thing in life. For that she always tried to protect the evil Viyada, despite her cruelty.

Monthai and Bee have an early bond that only grew stronger with time. With Bee writing letters and sending gifts to Monthai for 8 years when he was in Australia, when it was Viyada who was Monthai's girlfriend and was supposed to do it.We all watchers can see that it is all along Bee,that Monthai truly loves. It also takes long time for him to realize it.I also wish we had more sweet scenes between Mon and Bee,they always fought throughout the story..and the few sweetness we got was so swoon-worthy!

As i have mentioned,i do prefer the original version starring Ek and Ae,just because they have way better and intense chemistry, and because Ek's Monthai realizes earlier the bitchiness of Viyada, both Ae and Ek excuted the characters of Bee and Mon much better actually. We also got to see a wedding scene in the original version's ending!
