Preston learns not to believe everything he hears.

It's Valentine's Day, and Madam Odius hands over the last Galactic Medallion to Venoma, last of the Galactic Ninjas, to do her worst against the Power Rangers. As Venoma sets about to attack, Preston worries over how to ask Sandy to the school dance later that night. When she's shot from behind by a Venoma love-arrow that causes recipients to fall in love with the next person they see, Preston isn't sure whether subsequent feelings are sincere or not.—statmanjeff

Aboard the Warrior Dome, Madam Odius impatiently asks Badonna to hand over the last Ninja Medallion, the only one that survived Foxatron's destruction. It's Valentine's Day, and Madam Odius has decided (threatening death and promising freedom) to let Venoma use her special power on the Power Rangers.

In the school hallways, the Ranger teen boys look forward to the Valentine's Day Dance later that night. Preston, meanwhile, stresses over how to ask Sandy to be his date.

Victor and Monty enter, with Monty, dressed as Cupid, ready to shoot fair maidens with suction-cup arrows for Victor. Aiming for Sandy under Victor's directive, Monty shoots but hits Mrs. Bell in the forehead. She removes the arrow and reads the note attached: "Be mine, Valentine. Love and kisses - Victor Vincent." Mrs. Bell asks who taught Monty archery. "Victor did," he responds, and Victor pulls him away to admonish him towards aiming more carefully.

Monty again takes aim at Sandy as Victor goes forward to ask her, straightforwardly this time, to be his date. Before he can, though, Monty fires, planting a sucker-cup arrow smack dab on Victor's mouth, silencing him. Victor pulls it off, threatens to repay "Cupid" for it, then asks Sandy to the dance, offering her a gold necklace if she will. It's a bride that worked on a girl last year, of which Sandy wants no part. She makes it clear she'd rather go to the dance alone than with him.

Rejected, Victor returns to Monty, telling him that Sandy apparently wants to go to the dance alone. Preston overhears this and, glancing at Sandy and believing Victor's statement to be true, tears up his Valentine's card.

Spotting Lori (another student), Victor blocks Monty from shooting another arrow before he asks the girl himself. He offers her the gold necklace as he did Sandy, which Lori agrees to but only if he provides her with a lot more stuff as well.

As Hayley plays with Kody in the park, Calvin sneaks up behind her and asks what she got him for Valentine's Day. She offers him a filled poop bag from Kody. As Calvin leaves to throw it away, Hayley walks over to a picnic blanket to ask Preston how he did in asking Sandy to the dance. Preston nervously asks how she knew about it, and Hayley admits to seeing him practice his approach in the school hallway. Preston admits to hearing what Victor said, and Hayley instructs him to not believe anything Victor says, recalling Victor's past claim to have been the first man on the moon. Preston is easily convinced to try again. He's in luck: Sandy just happens to be walking close by.

Preston greets Sandy, and in the midst of asking her to the dance, Vernoma cuts in and shoots Sandy. The other Ranger teens rush in as Preston whisks Sandy to safety.

Venoma introduces herself as the Galactic Ninja of Dangerous Love. Sarah asks what she hit Sandy with, and Venoma demonstrates, hitting Brody with another arrow. Brody turns and proclaims Venoma his soulmate. Hayley takes Brody away as the others deal with Venoma. Calvin, Levi and Sarah transform into Rangers and begin a sword fight. Venoma fires an arrow at Yellow Ranger, but Blue Ranger knocks him away in time.

Pink Ranger now joins them, and fighting continues. Blue Ranger knocks Venoma down, and the other Rangers Ninja Blast her but miss. Flying up into the air, she fires her last two arrows, striking down Gold and Yellow Rangers, who stand and proclaim their love for her. Blue and Pink Rangers grab them and teleport away.

Summoned to the secret Ninja Steel base, Mick finds Brody, Calvin and Levi making gifts for Venoma (respectively, heart-shaped Ninja Steel, a yellow toy jeep full of flowers, and a song). Preston receives a call from Sandy. It's a bad time to respond, but Sarah and Hayley persuade him to go. Preston heads out.

Meeting in the student area, Sandy asks Preston to the dance. Preston is ecstatic but then recalls Sandy getting shot by Venoma's love arrow. Believing her to be under its influence, with her true feelings misdirected, Preston can't accept. Rejected, Sandy storms off. Hayley comes along, initially excited at hearing about Sandy asking Preston to the dance, but then understanding Preston's rejection with Sandy unfairly under a love-spell. Preston notes that Sandy left her book bag behind. In it, he finds Venoma's arrow lodged in a physics book, which mean it never touched Sandy to put her under a spell. Preston is ecstatic once again over Sandy asking him to the dance but then recalls that he turned her down and droops dejectedly. Mick calls, recalling Hayley and Preston to the base.

At the Ninja base, Levi proposes an alliance with Calvin and Brody in order to get out and be with Venoma. As the others look elsewhere, the three love-struck boys quietly slip out.

Preston and Hayley arrive, asking where Levi, Brody and Calvin are. While remaining Ranger teens must retrieve their teammates, they'll be susceptible to Venoma's arrows. To that end, Mick and Redbot hold up metal chest plates that they've just whipped up.

Cruising around in Nitro (Calvin's jeep), the love-struck trio try to determine where to find Venoma. While unable to agree on where to look, Nitro conks out.

Preston, searching alone around some warehouses for his teammates, discovers a honey spill and fears he's found Venoma rather than his friends. He's right. Venoma flies down from the roof and readies to shoot him. Preston locks in and transforms. They sword fight. Venoma fires several blue arrows to weaken him before striking him in the chest with her pink love-potion arrow. Blue Ranger falls backwards and demorphs. As Preston pulls the pink arrow from his chest, Venoma declares "Earth ninjas are easy." Preston stands and runs to Venoma with open arms, proclaiming her his one true love. As they hug, Venoma lovingly asks for his Ninja Power Star. He agrees but must do one little thing first. He pulls her last pink arrow from its chamber, tosses it up and, with his power sword, slices it in half, breaking her love spell.

At the jeep, Levi and Brody impatiently stand around, goading Calvin as he works as fast as he can to repair Nitro. Suddenly, pink lights exit from their chests and dissolve. The spell is broken. Sarah and Hayley find and run up to them. The boys have no memories of what happened while under the spell. Sarah's glad they're fixed but Hayley realizes that Preston is somewhere fighting Venoma alone.

Venoma can't understand her undoing, so Preston shows her his hidden metal chest plate that blocked her arrow from reaching him.

On the stage of Galaxy Warriors, Cosmo can't believe that Venoma was tricked by a teenager, declaring "Love can be so cruel!"

While Venoma's love arrows may be gone, she still has fighting arrows, and, like a woman monster scorned, fires. Preston dodges them and calls for teammate help, conveying his location. Preston performs a Ninja Spin in mid-action to transform and fight off further fighting arrows. Blue Ranger attacks with a Blue Tornado Strike Ninja Spin Final Attack while Venoma rushes in with a Venom Slash. Boom. Blue Ranger says goodbye; Venoma drops and explodes.

The Galaxy Warriors crowd goes wild, and Cosmo hits the gigantify button.

Giant Venoma rises, calling for "little Boy Blue." As she prepares to strike him, the Blaze Zords arrive. With Venoma distracted, Blue Ranger calls his Serpent Zord, and the Ninja Blaze Megazord is formed. The Rangers deflect Venoma's attack with a Ninja Blaze Hydro-Shield. Giant Venoma decides to wrestle the much larger Ninja Blaze Megazord to the ground but gets pushed and kicked back instead. Red Ranger serves up a Serpent Punch, knocking Venoma on her butt before delivering an additional Ninja Blaze Megazord Ranger Blast Final Attack. Shot out from the Megazord's torso, each Ranger delivers a slash to Venoma's chest. Declaring that the Galactic Ninjas are no more, she falls before exploding in a giant fireball. The Rangers hop in joy. "Show's over. Ninjas win."

Back at school, Preston nervously approaches Sandy yet again, trying to explain himself as he asks her to the dance, producing a heart-shaped card in mid-air. She's wary at first but then accepts happily. Hayley and Calvin look on, happy for them.

Victor brushes Preston aside as he and Monty, both armed with gifts, head for Lori with everything she's asked for: a giant pink teddy bear, a pair of snow skis, a diamond tiara, a new veggie lunch juicer, and a fur coat. As Monty hands over the veggie juice, the helium balloons attached to his right wrist lift him from the floor. Lori waits for the balloons she asked for before agreeing to go to the dance with Victor. Victor turns to Monty but finds his follower floating near the ceiling. "Look out for the ...!" The balloons are heard to pop (Burned by lights? Chopped by ceiling fans? Who knows?), and Monty falls atop Victor. Well, no balloons, no date - but Lori says she'll keep his other gifts anyway. Victor cries out to the universe, "Noooooooooo!"
