- Few kissing scenes in the show, although not too passionate
- There is a mild joke in episode 6 when a character asks another character if they would like to ride him. They look at him oddly, and he clarifies that he means to carry her.
- Infidelity is apart of a major plot point and is brought up several times.
Violence & Gore

- Prolonged scenes of Fantasy Violence in every episode. Expect lots of explosions, fist fights, sword fights, arrows, and a plethora of fantasy weapons.
- Some mild uses of blood in the form of red cuts and scrapes.
- Death is very prominent throughout. Several characters both good and bad die. Although their deaths are usually not graphic.
- Characters get injured, but recover fairly quickly.
- Characters are impaled. (Offscreen)
- Maya dislocates her shoulder to escape danger in a few episodes.
Profanity

- When Maya is walking out for her coronation and falls, she says, "Oh, damnit."
- Frequent use of "Oh, my gods" throughout.
- Some mild insults and name calling.
- Characters frequently threaten each other.

- The main villain's appearance may be too frightening for younger viewers
- Many deaths in the show, around half of them are shown on-screen
- Prolonged scenes of fantasy violence occur in every episode and get pretty loud and intense.
- Characters frequently talk about war and death. All of the gods want to sacrifice Maya.
- There is a lot of suspense and most episodes end on a cliffhanger.
- Many younger kids will find this series to be too intense and scary.

- In second episode, you find out that Maya's father cheated on Maya's mother with one of the goddess's who conceived Maya.
Violence & Gore
- The main villain of the show stabs his razor sharp finger into a woman's heart, (the actual impalement isn't shown), the woman then melts to death and the villain plucks out her heart and eats it. Despite not being bloody, this scene is still somewhat graphic and very shocking.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Maya dies in the last episode and becomes the sun. Zatz dies too and becomes the moon
