Colman Domingo plays a media pundit who stumbles on a murder he fears he’s being framed for in the trailer for The Madness, the upcoming conspiracy thriller from Netflix, that dropped on Monday.

“I got a bull’s eye on my back,” a paranoid Domingo, in the role of Muncie Daniels, says at one point in the fast-paced teaser after he visits a murder scene deep in the woods of the Poconos and finds he’s the only witness to a crime.

As the walls close in and he fears a set-up to make him take the fall, Daniels strives to reconnect with his estranged family — and his lost ideals — in order to clear his name. The eight-episode thriller, with the Emmy winner in the starring role, is set to bow on Netflix Nov. 28.

The ensemble cast for The Madness includes Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski and Thaddeus J.

The project marks the “Rustin” Oscar nominee’s directorial debut and co-stars David Jonsson as the iconic entertainer. Although plot details are being kept under wraps, the film centers on the scandalous and brief love affair between Novak and the Rat Packer, which took place in 1957. Matthew Fantaci wrote the script.

Principal photography on “Scandalous” will take place in Los Angeles after Sweeney and Domingo wrap the third season of HBO series “Euphoria.” Sweeney will produce the project along with Tani Cohen and Bobby Rock. Jon Levin is the executive producer.

Christian Bale’s 2000 adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ original novel was helmed by Mary Harron, who also wrote the screenplay alongside Guinevere Turner. According to Variety, Luca Guadagnino is in final negotiations to helm the modern adaptation of American Psycho for Lionsgate.

Ahead of the new season of HBO’s drama series Euphoria, Zendaya has confirmed the characters will be portrayed as high school graduates, a stark difference from the past two seasons.

The Emmy Award-winning actress appeared on Entertainment Weekly’s podcast, The Awardist, to discuss season 3 of the popular series.

After paparazzi photos of the actor were circulated on social media, Sweeney took to Instagram (via TheRingReport.com) to confirm she's playing Martin in a movie being directed by David Michod.

For those of you who aren't aware, Martin competed between 1989 and 2012 and was crowned world champion in the super welterweight class in 2009. In 2010, the boxer was stabbed and shot her by husband, James Martin, but miraculously survived. He's now serving a 25-year prison sentence for attempted second-degree murder.

Earlier this year, we wrote about how Lionsgate wanted to mount a new version of "American Psycho," and now the studio has found its director: Luca Guadagnino, the director behind "Call Me By Your Name," "Challengers," and the 2018 remake of "Suspiria," who seems to be a perfect choice for this new take.

I say "new take" because there's an important distinction to be made here. Per the report in Deadline, Guadagnino is not remaking the 2000 movie written and directed by Mary Harron, which stars Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman, a Wall Street finance bro who also happens to be a vicious serial killer. Instead, Guadagnino is re-adapting the 1991 novel by Bret Easton Ellis, which is a lot sicker and more twisted than the film.
