The "Colonel" (Tom Sizemore) an officer, is wearing an enlisted uniform with "Staff Sergeant" stripes, rather than the appropriate officer uniform with an "Eagle" pinned or sewn on the collar.
The colonel states that the Nazis don't think the Americans/Allies are paying any attention to Romania. This is not true, as Romania experienced (western) Allied bombing from 1942 to 1944.
At around 11:45 a map of Europe is shown that clearly is not the year 1944 (Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia are independent and Hungary hasn't occupied Transylvania). This map is of a 1938 Europe at the latest.
The movie is set in 1944 but on the map earlier in the movie Austria is shown as an independent country. Austria was part of the German Reich since the Anschluss in 1938 and should have been shown as such on the map.
Around twenty minutes in, as the soldiers are being led by the peasant, wild palms can be seen in the background. Romania is too cold for palms to grow in the wild (without human assistance).
At 23:43 a castle appears, which is clearly Neuschwanstein Castle, actually located in Bavaria, Germany.
At 07:58 a picture is shown, supposedly of Dr. India Eris. But Dr. Eris is a woman, and this picture is clearly showing a man.
The Nazis have constantly pronunciation errors when talking German, e.g. saying "Unterscheid" instead of "Unterschied" (Difference) or "Ziet" instead of "Zeit" (time).
