Nimbe was an interesting film that gave us more than we expected. The execution and screenplay, so regrettably, didn't hold up to standards. Overall, a good watch
DELICIOUS
-When you have a character's name for a movie title, you expect greatness and that's exactly what Chimezie Imo was.
He left a memorable impression. He looked like the kid next door, frail, timid, but also wanting acceptance. Then, he transformed into this fierce and notorious boy, hmmm....👊🏾
Should we really talk about Toyin Abraham's and Odunlade Adekola's performances? Flawless is an understatement😃
-The film was crude in showing the way domestic violence damages children's psychology as well as the brutality and bloodiness of the crime world
-A valuable message was sent out to parents on the immense necessity to nurture children in order to prevent them from going astray. Thank you for making this movie!
BLAND
-The movie's structure appeared a bit all over the place. Though we were introduced to the main character, we didn't really get a deep sense of who he was and the mental process of how he derailed into the drug world.
There was no progress, we were just given pieces and expected to put the puzzle together
-The weak editing hurt the scene transitions and song cuts
-Color grading was quite inconsistent and a more intriguing score could have drawn our attention to the intensity of the themes...
