Warning: Spoilers
Queen of the south season 3 has come to an end, this season has been underwhelming, it moves at a pretty slow pace with plenty filler episodes, the fact that all the episodes get an eight star rating is beyond me, they're not an eight-star material, maybe somewhere between six and seven.
I wasn't expecting Cortez, one of my favorite character in this show, and the only thing that's keeping things interesting, to be killed off like that. it's pretty underwhelming way to go for a big baddie of the season.
Overall, S3 is the weakest season so far, the storyline is made up as it goes, and there weren't much character developments but the performances are decent, the soundtrack is fantastic, cinematography is good as well, the locations and the scenery are beautiful. The special effects, and some fight choreography needs polishing tho, and so does the pacing.
