Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Two women at a diner get attacked and eaten by a pair of zombies. Their intestines are shown being eaten (before the zombies go for a coffee pot) and their graphic and decaying bodies are both shown no less than 3 times each- with their chest cavity fully exposed and chunks of intestine shown, as well as other insides in the cavity.
  • Bodies of the Cleveland hipsters are discovered by the sheriff and his Deputies - Deputy Peterson then proceeds to chop the heads off the body, with the last one splattering blood all over the other cops but it isn't shown. He later holds the head of the girl, with blood pouring out of the stump- and the eyes blink (blink-and-you-miss-it)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Every single character dies at the end. The only one who survives is Tom Waits' character, Hermit Bob.
