I don't know what the point or purpose of this film was.
A sad, overweight young man works at a gay massage parlor. He's basically the janitor. It's clear he has no life, no self-respect and no ability to communicate with other men. Like another film about a closeted gay man who works in a sauna. (SPA NIGHT), the main character here lives in a bizarre fantasy world. He is close to hot men all day, but he doesn't know how to interact with them or be who he is. One day a customer leaves behind his phone. The young man makes contact with him, and returns the phone. The customer is hottish, smokes a lot and is friendly. He's also apparently a swim instructor. (I don't know any swim instructors who smoke like chimneys.) The customer offers the young man swimming lessons, since the young man says he can't swim. The lesson ends in failure when the young man's foot cramps and the customer/instructor must hold him up. Somehow, in that awkward moment, the young man falls madly in love with the customer, even though the customer has given him no reason whatsoever to feel that way.
Later, back at the massage parlor, he meets the customer again. By now the young man is surly with rage, because he saw the customer and one of the young man's hot co-workers go out together. But why would he be upset? Because the customer held him up in the pool, and therefore that meant they were now a couple and would be together forever?
The film goes on but nothing really happens. There are no professional actors in it that I can tell, and the lead young man has this look of fear, anger and desperation all over his face and it never changes.
An unpleasant excursion into an unpleasant world and a faux story about unpleasant people. Two thumbs down. I gave it two stars for a momentarily hot scene between the customer and the co-worker.
