Did not see thig coming

Was pleased to see a south park episode that I enjoyed the whole way through.

Good to see Randy Marsh fightin' again, and stickin' it to the hipsters. GOLD!

Seeing how the show presented modern weed farms, which do not exist like this at all , was pretty funny too. 7/10

Kind of one note but the central joke is funny enough

There isn't much to 'Tegridy Farms'. It's one of those one joke 'South Park' episodes that really hammers the punchline into you. Essentially the joke is that everyone who vapes is a pretentious hipster who is overcompensating instead of smoking a regular joint made with 'tegridy. The mileage you get out of it depends on if you think it's funny and I found it really funny.

It's an interesting episode too in that pot/stoner humor isn't taboo anymore. The stupid DARE scare tactics about marijuana have really lost any power they once may have had. In our lifetime I really think marijuana will be legalized nationwide and so a character like Towlie is going to lose a lot of his impact. That is what makes the episode kind of funny in that Randy in his over the top fashion is bringing down the idea of hipsters using vaping as a way to be rebellious and cool.

It's a good enough ode to the stoner comedy.

Never heard of vaping

This episode features Stan's family moving out to a farm where they grow hemp. It takes place in Colorado, so that makes sense. I had no idea it was legal in a total of nine states. I thought that this was made by response to Canada legalizing marijuana. I know it couldn't be THAT topical. Anyway, the subplot is that there's vaping going around for the kindergarten kids.

I knew when Cartman punched Butters to honor Kyle that there was something up. Turns out they were both into vaping. I really do like the end with all the action. It was nice to see Towelie again and I'm glad they used him more here. I'm getting used to this thing where they show a brief clip from the episode during the credits. It seems like it would make more sense to just show a new clip, but we'll let it slide. ***1/2

That's Some Good Sh**t!

This was one of the better episodes in the last four years. I laughed more than once and was thoroughly entertained by the episode. Having a Classic Randy and a Classic Eric is always a good thing. It's sort of a best of compilation of Trey and Matt humour. I hope next episode will pick up where this one left off, especially the Tegridy farm bit! :D

This episode is extremely funny. I love how it makes fun of the whole way people utilize marijuana into some stupid stuff like milk and gummies. Stoners will love it. I think it's one of the greatest episodes of south park. And as a smoker of both joints and cigarettes. I enjoyed seeing Randy take down vaping. I think the writing here was brilliant. Some of the main characters were toned down and out of character a little for a few moments. But it's not like people watch south park and look for some character development. It's just funny as hell.

Finally South Park is Back !

Now this is how a South Park episode should be like. A good story, crazy jokes and ridiculous characters.

All the previous episodes this season has felt kinda off but now with 'Tegridy Farms' Trey and Matt finally got their groove back !

Knew I would love the episode just from the first 5 minutes. Can't really describe it but there's a special feeling when Trey is on point with the script.

Anyway this is what they should do the entire season ! Time to step it up !

Cartman at his best. This one of the funniest episodes of the series to me. Butters is the best!

It was like OK but nothing so special as other episodes. Totally agree that vapers are kitties.

Unsubtle and forced.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a big upgrade on the previous episode with Mr Hankey, but is still a long way from the heights South Park has previously hit.

The idea of the episode was good, but it's not subtle enough. We ALL make fun of vaping already, its old news. They have to make the characters more involved if they are going to do a take on it. Randy was pretty good during this episode, but I think his family could have made fun of him a little more, as they did during the blockbuster episode for instance. The sound effects are too much, taking away from the ambience of the characters. Compare the scene of Randy yelling at Stan for having a vape pen, and an older scene of Randy asking Stan to unblock the informative murderporn. Which is 10x better? Towlie was funny while testing the weed, but was a bit too much right after Mr Hankey was also re introduced, and his tiny inclusion in this episode was not worth it. Kyle, Cartman and Butters seemed off, and the scenes/storyline they were in looked rushed. Stan? Ike? No personality. The vape pen cool aid looking guy? So forced, and too obviously a copy from Family Guy. Call me a hater, whatever, but its just not that funny.

Matt and Trey spoke on the documentary of the way that they would sometimes feel bad about pumping out an episode because they knew it was bad. I'd be very surprised if they have felt that good about an episode in a while. They are some funny guys. They are capable of so much more.
