Sweet but too short
leahcubed21 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Jung min (Kim Sung-cheol) and Na-ra (Jung Chae-yeon) are two young people whose lives have not taken the path they hoped. Jung-min has had unrequited love for his dream girl since high school. Na-ra left to become an idol but is now back to living a "normal" life. Chance brings her back around Jung Min who may finally have the chance to confess. The real show stealer though is Jung-min's younger sister Park Ok-hee (Choi Yoo-ri) who coached her brother in life and love with a wisdom far beyond her grade schooler years. There are only 2, 60 minute, episodes.

Good for what it was but far to short to be well developed.

I heard Grown-Ups by "Sondia" here. And the mini series itself was SOO CUTEE!

Just finished watching this drama special and it was so much fun! definitely recommend it for a fresh breath after heavier stuffs.

Acting was superb. the characters were very lovable, and the story is simple and cute!

I really loved the songs especially the use of already existing hits like Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me", they just fit so perfectly and nice!

I was also very excited when I heard Park Jung Min singing the song "Grown-Ups/Adult" which is by "Sondia" from "My Mister", It's such an awesome song but the lead doesn't sing it to the end cuz of his anxiety issues. I was really hoping there would be more of that! But anyways everything ended really well I'm grateful for that.

Cute, endearing and super funny

This was such a joy to watch. I literally had a smile on my face the whole two hours.

The story is very simple and straightforward but it is told in a very sweet and genuine way and makes you connect very quickly with the characters and what they are experiencing.

Just finished rewatching Sweet Home for the second time and watching Kin Sung Cheol in this role was such a shock I had to get used to it for a moment. How on earth can he play this innocent, naive, shy and hopeless romantic guitarist and absolutely transform into a psychopath monster in Sweet Home?! What a chameleon, what a performance (in both shows), I am In awe.

Another mention has to be for the little sister Ok Hee ( played by Choi Yoo Ri) gives so much flavor and richness to this drama, I love her character so much.

Overall this was amazing to watch. Great music and original songs as well. Great chemistry amongst the cast, extremely funny and a few romantic fluffs. Watch it, you will have a good time.
