reasonable

It is difficult to say what you expect about the last episode. It is decent end of a serie who only reminds a dramatic episode of the first part of XX century. It deserve be a better serie but the reasonable job of Oliver Dimsdale is a good point, like other performances. The sin - maybe the commentaries. Short, what know a History student with not high ambitions is present in this serie . And being a serie for large public, it is a reasonable work, the scenes from news representing a good point.

Trivia
Nicholas is shown bearing a black dragon tattoo on his right forearm. The real Czar Nicholas II did in fact have such a tattoo. He had it done in Nagasaki in 1891 during a visit to Japan.

Goofs
Ipatiev House and its surroundings were not like the ones appearing in the series. This is perhaps, in reality and unlike other locations that have survived, the original Ipatiev House was left abandoned, and finally demolished in 1997 by orders of President Boris Yeltsin.
