Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Two of the ghosts have an affair. You can see one of their heads moaning in the scene.
  • S5, ep1, Thomas thinks Alison is going to flash him, however the viewers know she is only pulling an April Fools prank on him. The entire awkward dinner date lesding up to this is also part of the prank and is played for laughs. In the same episode, Alison tells Mike she is pregnant.

Violence & Gore

  • In s3 someone is decapitated off screen but his head, body and a bit of blood are on screen for 3 seconds not gory intended to be comedic.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Lots of scenes showing the deaths of characters. For example, a character who is a Boy Scout leader has an arrow shot through his head, a character is beheaded by two swords. These are never particularly explicit or bloody, often played for comedic effect.
  • Right at the beginning (S1 E1) Alison is leaning out the window looking for something and is pushed by Julian (who can interact with physical objects) causing her head injury and almost killing her. This is what gives her the ability to interact with the ghosts.
