The best episode to-date.

An interesting plot built abound a murder involving a dating agency, pornography and the Russian Mafia. A complicated chain of individuals, though the identity of the perpetrator was evident after 15 minutes, with the remaining 30 dedicated to the team catching up and then proving it.

The relevance to the disappearing wife plot of some of the incongruous behaviours becomes clear, though they still lack foundation and credibility from the perspective of the characters. There are many different ways to have generated the desired plot development without resorting to such clumsy devices, though this has led to an interesting cliff-hanger.

More disagreements.

Could a dating website be the link to a murder?

It's another very good episode in what has been a truly fine first series. The title isn't one you'd expect to see on a show transmitted on a weekday afternoon on BBC1, but despite the somewhat racy name it was quite mild.

The story itself is interesting, with some good characters, but it's the overriding story arc that's the most interesting part, what in Earth is Amber up to, and what's her intention towards Billie?

Hugo Speer's taken a much smaller role here and in the last episode, once again though that ringing phone is infuriating.

Very good viewing, 7/10.

So happy

Warning: Spoilers
Only reason I've been watched this far is to see how long they'll wear the same outfits from episode to episode, and when Billie and Vivienne will receive their reckoning. Vivienne because she's a terrible supervisor and team player and Billie because she has zero detective skills even for a trainee. She knows Amber was at a victim's flat that she lied about knowing and found the body - it's a real possibility she was involved. Invite her to your house alone or tell your supervisor...sheesh, tough call. *Eye roll*

Sex Games

Warning: Spoilers
A body is sighted on the River Thames. DI Bradford fears that it could be his missing wife.

The victim was involved in online dating. The later find that the man she was on a date with is also dead, he appears to have shot himself. It could be murder-suicide.

However it seems both were also followed by a motorcyclist. The police investigation leads them to a world of robbery and porn.

Again another episode which seems to be unsuitable to broadcast in an early afternoon slot.

The episode ends with a shocking moment as Detective Constable Billie Fitzgerald confronts a witness to a murder featured in the opening episode of this series.

Head shot?

Warning: Spoilers
Overall another decent episode BUT someone shot in the head leaves a little puddle of blood? I don't think so! I think most of us have seen enough of this type of thing to KNOW that a headshot splashes blood, bone and brain all over the place. Sadly I think the 13:45 showing time (UK) has blunted the action. Shame!
