When I listen to ACS the last year what I love is the trouble makin, line crossin misbehavior: at its best on a par with Norm MacDonald and funny for the same reasons - joking about Weinstein and the state of acting being so poor that anyone who could give a b***j*** could seamlessly fill in for the more talented competitor: Didn't get the job? O ya? Whip your d* out!

8 instead of 10 because "W.Y.D.O." Carolla is the one I wanted to see: loose, deviant, principled but risqué. - For the next special, give us "Crystal Brain" - making fun of politics, morality, sex, driving, and Hollywood. Darker room, Valium, beer, scotch, and hobos.

I am a huge fan of Adam Carolla in fact I think he is a genius. I really believe that whatever aspect of his "wiring" that makes this not good is what makes most everything else so great. I am not sure what happened. He either did not ask for any direction, did not accept any direction or, and the theory I am going with, the "lacky's" were afraid to give an honest assessment.

Fast paced. Funny. Well timed delivery. A great show if you are a fan of the ace man. not a fan. Watch it it and you will be. Great observations and laughs. He gives a good performance and entertains through the entire show.

If you like Carolla, this is right in your wheelhouse!

If you don't know Carolla, you'll probably like it. His observations are great and relatable to anyone who has done stuff or is alive.

Adam and Drew raised me and so many others, buying this was a good opportunity for me to give back. Be cool to see him put together a comedy special of best of video clips of "Adam Carolla's unprepared", edited up nice with some in between scenes of him cracking wise at the bar/studio or something, easy money.

Adam is always good, this was great.

I am a regular listener to ACS and I am tired of Adam making the excuses for why Netflix & others passed on this stand up show. The fact is that it wasn't that good and he has a difficult time accepting that.

I felt compelled to adjust my rating to a 4 star due to the fact that Adam made the comment on his show that only trolls that hate him would give his wonderful stand up special a 1 Star review. I guess that Adam feels that he should get points for his standup special (like his doc's & movies) based on his fans enjoyment of his podcast instead of the material of his films. So hopefully this helps his star rating & increases his already huge ego so he can continue to drive his staff & family crazy.

I frankly felt sorry for Adam Carrolla. This special started out okay but after ten minutes it flatlined and then managed to get worse when he literally brought a slideshow of family pictures to a comedy show. Worst of all, it wasn't funny. You can hear someone heckling him twice in the background, the second time it happened you see Adam nervously walk it off. Also, did you know that Adam Carrolla knows Jimmy Kimmel? Well, of you did not know that fact then you will after watching this because Adam brings it up about 60 times! How was this even released?

Adams societal observations are hilarious . If you are looking for a good laugh for an hour then this is your ticket. PC Haters will troll but if you are a fan of comedy then you will enjoy this stand up special

I've been a fan of Adam Carolla for years I've enjoyed the podcast and I've went to a few live shows in Seattle so clearly he's my brand of funny but this special was not good this was a lesson in bad comedy..a lot of the joke are things you have heard on podcast smh come on Ace man we need new material

This comedy special is why I love Adam Carolla and his humor. He is not your traditional stand up comedian but a humorist, like a working man's Mark Twain or Will Rogers. The manhole cover bit was as funny as any of his observational humor. It was well worth the $8.99 I spent for on demand. I predict he will make more money on demand than he ever would on Netflix. This is the story of his life and his incredible drive to leave his poverty and depressive childhood. It is hard not to root for him.

Anyone who recognizes the name Carolla, will not be disappointed. And if you were disappointed, consider cleaning your window of negligence, rinsing your mug, and acknowledging more than a decade's worth of material. Is this a comedy special? No, it's a comedy masterpiece!

I read NTBM when it first came out and really enjoyed. I was afraid that this movie would be stale but it was a nice compliment to the book. Definitely worth the money I spent at the Google Play Store. Not sure why this isn't featured on Netflix or Amazon. It's better than most comedies on either one. Public Service Announcement: If you require trigger warnings and safe spaces steer clear.
