Peyton is a murderous psycho teen with a really bad dye job and says the word "actually" in almost every other sentence. After she offs her rough looking step mommy by poisoning her with birthday cake, she sets her psycho sights on getting a new mommy for herself.
Even though she's 18 and an adult, this whack job still needs to have a mother to love and will kill anyone in her path to make the mommy of her desire all hers...and even eliminate her real daughter by framing her for murder to get her out of the way.
It was an ok movie even though everything was predictable, and the wine opener scene was not believable because the police would have listened to the woman instead of just hauling her away lol.
Even the daughter knew right away her story was bogus and that she's a psychotic nut job, but of course in these Lifetime films the mother rarely listens to reason until it's too late.
Acting was good all around and I loved the daughter Shay who didn't fear the psycho and knew how to put her in her place when she realized what her creepy intentions were. I loved the scene where she got in her face and told her off.
It built up to a good climax as everyone caught on to the psycho which caused crazy Peyton to snap. I give it a solid 8.
