Beautifully Heartbreaking
utopiara11 September 2020
Let's start by saying, if you're looking for a happy drama to lift up your mood, this IS NOT the one. "Time" is a sad heartbreaking drama about a dying man that spends the rest of his days trying to fix a woman's life that he destroyed. It's a very heavy drama with a lot of deep issues. It talks about time and how we decide to spend it, about how the strong wins over the weak. About regret and fighting to stay alive . There isn't much romance or fun in this. The actors did a great job of delivering the right feelings. Prepare for a lot of tears and depression. Even with all the sadness, I found this drama quite brilliant. I loved it. Watch it and you will not regret.

Genuinely Unsure How to Rate This Show...

Warning: Spoilers
So lets start with the good: The premise/story of the show was good - different from really anything else I have watched, and it had some really poignant and difficult scenes to watch. Kim Jung-Hyun is fantastic in this, showing a very multi-dimensional character who is dealing with a terminal case of brain cancer. The soundtrack is heartbreaking and gorgeous.

Now for the bad: The ending feels pointless once Soo-Ho dies - this is due to the fact that the actor in real life was too sick to continue filming, so they rewrote the ending so he could leave before finishing filming. This definitely had an impact, and his death felt very sudden and unfulfilling. It was very different from what I imagine the original ending would have been. I'm not sure if Seol Ji-Hyun became so intolerable because of the re-writes or if she was always supposed to be that awful, but she really became the worst character. I felt like her anger and grief were portrayed well, but when she became so vindictive, especially towards Soo-Ho, it felt like way too much. She was justified to a point, but Soo-Ho didn't actually kill her sister, and honestly had nothing to do with her death, he was just in the same room as her. The fact that Ji-Hyun never acknowledges that fact and just keeps punishing Soo-Ho, especially when he was getting visibly more and more sick was just too awful. Once Soo-Ho died I didn't even finish the show because it felt so pointless. So it could have been great, and I don't feel like it's anyone's fault that it wasn't, it was just what had to happen due to real life issues.

a must watch d

If you want a really sad story to make you cry like you never did before , but also with a proper satisfying ending , you should try this drama, it started slowly but keep developing for the best. the unique thing in this drama is the seriousness , it take the Romance/Love in a serious and mature way ... while most of the other dramas goes for the happy ending and the magical love ... this drama isn't afraid of going in the opposite direction with a serious ending showing that not every story should be a happy fairy tale. the drama also discuss the importance of the time we have and how we could give our life a meaning , even if we don't have a lot of time to live . how should we use that small time to change the life of someone . this is one of the best drama out there . with an easy 10/10

Frustrating

Warning: Spoilers
A rich hot tempered man decides to do something good before he dies and thus tries to help a women to solve the mystery of her sister's death which happened while he was at the scene. In the process he falls in love with her. This is the essence of the story. Cast: The male lead slayed his role. The antagonist were good. While the female lead will disappoint you. She remains an expressionless women.

What went wrong? Plot: what went wrong is the plot. It was just one murder and we all know who is the murderer. That takes away the interest after the first few episodes. The show starts with a bang and then drags this murder into an unbelievable extent. It was only the male lead who was holding the show together. Just as I started liking the show. I read somewhere that the male lead is going to exit and I saw a slight trailer which showed that the female lead is going to take revenge on him and he is going to die saving her. While she remains a thankless women! What a horrible plot! So after the lead character's death the show still continues and this ends into even a major disappointment. I couldn't stay to complete the show. Why? Because this show didn't do justice to the male lead. The reason for his death becomes even more pitiful because it is a one sided love.

However I would say that this show did have it's good moments. The message that we can all choose how to utilise the time we have is the most beautiful and useful message ever given by a Tv show. It was for this message and the brilliant acting of the antagonist and the male lead that I rated it 5 stars. Otherwise I would have given it 0 or even 2 stars maximum.

As you can see I didn't like it because it was frustrating . After watching for some time I just wanted a closure but they dragged it. Even then I would say if you want to watch it you go watch it. Our perspectives can differ. Who knows you may even love this.

I don't think this drama is worth for watching. Because there is no romance in this drama, how can they say this drama is romantic ( mention is tag) Not even single kiss.if you want to watch you can watch upto 12 episodes after that story is very boring😑. U can't even understand how story is going. I am so disappointed😞 on story writers. Still giving 5 star acting. ( this review is my personal opinion about this drama don't take personal)
