Until a week ago, I had never heard of this show. It was recommended to my by my nerdy son. I rushed through the first season and now feel I have a connection with the characters. It's time to slow down and look more deeply into what is going on. The reactions of the characters as they attend the funeral are priceless. The reflecting off the standard stuff being put forth by the minister who is speaking over a fried vampire is funny. Also, we get some more looks at the past as characters cross in and out. I will be interested to see what happens in the second season as the writers have the comfort of knowing they have a following. I enjoy watching Guillermo and his painful day to day duties with absolutely no recompense. When his boss asks him if he is sad, he ignores the explanation that no one listens to the boy by talking over him. Funny bit.
