The last few episodes have made this story something to be invested in now ! Also liking the change of story for Archie and jughead looking forward to where that goes. season 3 is staying strong.

that Scream throwback

This episode was great and everything but what got me excited the most was that Scream tribute. The popcorn on the stove (just like Ghostface vs Casey Becker). Running up the stairs instead of out the front door (Just like Sidney Prescott did), and also JP coming in through the window to hug his high school girlfriend (Just like Billy Loomis did after Sidney was first attacked). Seeing as he was in Scream and did the same thing in that movie and with a very similar facial expression gave me chills.

This mystery is very interesting. I thought this was going to be a supernatural season on how it started and didn't mind it at all seeing as its loosely connected to Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but now it seems like they're going with a serial killer in a mask/costume route instead.

At the end of the episode I thought he was going to run off to Greendale and wish he did tbh which could have setup the one off episode of Sabrina coming out this December. A little sad they didn't as it could have worked out but understand why they chose not to.

Lili Reinhart continues to impress with her acting skills and the episodes keep getting better and better. Love the dynamic between Lili and Madchen.

Wonderful with all the Scream homage scenes! FP Jones (played by Skeet Ulrich) coming through the bedroom window just like Billy Loomis (also played by Skeet!!) Was awesome!

Archie making stupid decisions, Veronica crying, the evil Hiram Lodge, Jughead and Betty investigating and some more usual things. But Gargoyle King in Betty's home and Betty being sent to Sisters of Quiet Mercy is pretty much good but stupid twists. Oh come on guys. It's Riverdale. It's how it is.
