Inexpensively filmed in a bunker
bananaspider10 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Also when the girl says you got to kill him you got to kill him! And why does someone hit you on the back when you have a vest on and expect you to be out? You can't get much dumber than that guy here but I would say the girl was the hero. But when the heck did she use the bathroom during the few weeks she was pretending to be out while being raped? And who can do that? I mean pretend to be in a coma while being raped day in and day out? Anyway those are the flaws but I still got through it and didn't think it was terrible.

If You're Seeking Intelligent Entertainment...Avoid
jm-vincent9 April 2022
To quote from an overly enthusiastic (and misguided) reviewer: "Fuuuukin" terrible flick. Tired of unbelievably bad American (and English) horror movies, I turned to foreign films, hoping they would have something better to offer. My hopes were dashed with this. Note that the top 3 rave reviews (scoring the flick a 10, 9 and 8) are by reviewers who have only reviewed this one flick. They are obviously either trying to pump up the score, or have only seen this one flick. Fortunately, the writer-director of this fail has a very limited output. Avoid.

Why even have reviews if they're all fake
orionhi20 January 2022
This movie is so ridiculously stupid honest reviews wouldn't be higher than a 2. She fakes being a coma for a month? This is not a slow burn movie. It's a trash fire. I've seen worse but not by much. This definitely ranks in the top 10 worse movies you'll ever see. You'll get more entertainment clipping your toenails than this movie will provide.

Worth the watch
davidvanhooser4 January 2022
This is a nice little thriller that is well done in terms of production value and quality! As a low budget horror/thriller, this movie outdoes the poor lighting, sloppy camerawork, cheap sets and other things that take you out of the movie and usually make such movies unwatchable. Along with that, the acting is really strong (weak acting being another common thread in low budget films). The quality acting helped me stay engaged with the characters and story. I'm usually able to 'keep my distance' with a movie, but I found myself really being disgusted by THE BAD GUY. And there is one nice twist in the story that I didn't see coming. I enjoy being surprised in a good way.

I wanted a bit more action and threatening tone than this movie had, but it's definitely worth the watch.

boring and nonsense

Warning: Spoilers
A drunk ex soldier holding a woman hostage in a bunker , she is faking being unconscious and he has his way with her over and over ?!

A second guy finds them , finds out what's going on and does not help that woman ?! He had so many chances but instead its days and days of talking and sleeping LOL Not sure if nobody in this movie ever had a girl/boyfriend but who believes that poor woman can sleep through being raped over and over and faking unconsciousnesses for that long.

Dont waste your time with this movie , one of the most useless movies ever made in my mind .

Boring and very lame story .

Unexpected zombies
timpellu15 November 2021
Loved it!

I normally do not like Zombie movies, because they are so predictable and lack insight into the duality of human nature.

However, this one has ensconced withn a greater theme of isolation and sexual assault.

The plot weaves both the zombie story and the human nature story, so well, that I came out of the story realizing it was about both, equally.

The cinematography was unsettling in an excellent way. I felt locked into the story with no escape (it reminded me of the way "The Revenant " was filmed.

The characters were three dimensional in that I did not really know who to trust until well into the latter part of the story.

The music and lighting captured the moment and the finale was neither contrived, forced or expected.

I had a great time watching it.

Claustrophobic mediation on the nature of evil
thao16 November 2021
Seamus is on a run from zombies when he finds an underground shelter. There are two people there already, Konrad and Mila. Seamus is thankful for the shelter but soon starts to wonder if he can trust everything Konrad has said to him.

Many will think of 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) when watching this film but it made me think just as much about "The World, the Flesh and the Devil" (1959), "The Quiet Earth" (1985) and "Z for Zachariah" (2015). All films with two men and one woman at the end of the world.

As in all good zombie films we learn that humans are the real monsters. The zombies only show us what lies beneath.

What impressed me the most about this film is the cinematography. This is a low budget film but it looks like a million dollars. The lighting is stunning and the frame composition is beautiful!

The actors do a good job, especially considering that they play in English which is not their native language.

If you are looking for action then this might not be for you but if you like claustrophobic mediation on the nature of evil then this might be your cup of tea.

Taut and tense post apocalyptic thriller
freddb3429 November 2021
I saw this on the FB FLIC site and decided to give it a watch. Director and cast do a lot with minimal settings , virtually no SFX, and a small(ish) budget. From the start, you get to know who's who and what they want. Pacing is kept tight and the story moves forward quickly without any exposition needed. It wound up going where I wasn't initially expecting which was refreshing. The ending was a bit of a bummer as I wanted to see something else but all in all a good watch.
