Like the first movie, Tales from the Hood (1995), there is a mix of stories involving different themes such as Redemption, Forgiveness, Sexism, Racism and Betrayal. Both movies have a bizarre storyteller; in the sequel, it is Keith David. Who constantly mentions something about, "the shit." Just like the first movie, towards the end, someone goes to Hell.
