Well at first storyline is Okay, Acceptable. One thing I don't understand, what kind of husband never expresses love and affection to his wife. Since this woman unable to fulfill her sexual desires, what can she do, and it was 1940 there is no way she can jeopardize her marital life. So she did it what she felt best for her in her own innocency. Sexual desires can't be controlled or suppressed whether you are a good person or bad.

Why does every movie normalise and justify adultery and cheating using LGBTQ or women empowerment as an excuse. If you aren't satisfied with your partner, you can talk to them about it. You can do a lot if things other than cheating on them. This is really a cheap way to normalise same-sex relationships.
