- Brief male and female butt nudity in both seasons.
- The females on the show wear workout shorts and sports bra tops when they wake up.
- There are several "sex" scenes that don't show nudity, but have hard breathing, grinding, etc. One of these scenes is a three-way between one girl and two guys kissing. This is very heavy, but doesn't show any nudity.
- There is no male or female frontal nudity.
- Two scenes where Katee Sackhoff is shown with her hand in her pants, presumably masturbating. Action itself is not shown but is heavily implied.
- Nudity is mild, but there is more male nudity than female nudity. The women are almost always wearing clothing.

- A person is fatally electrocuted. We see him burning before he falls to the ground.
- A person's internal nervous system is pulled out through their neck by an invisible force. The nervous system twitches along the floor before subsiding.
- An energy pulse knocks several people to the ground. Their noses bleed and some appear to be dead.
- A person melts after lethal exposure to radiation. We hear crackling and see them melt. We later see their entirely melted remains.
- A person hallucinates a dead person with blood leaking from their eyes and nose.
- Long metal stalks come out of a person's eyes and pierce into the eyes of another person. This happens several times over the final few episodes of Season 1.
- A person chooses to sacrifice some people in order to save others. We see one of them freeze to death.
- There are several fights across the first few episodes, occasionally with intent to kill.
