Sex & Nudity

  • Two brief scenes where a man is seen thrusting against a woman (no nudity).
  • There is brief foreplay between two male dancers without nudity
  • 3 Scenes of discreetly depicted masturbation without nudity.
  • There is very brief nudity of a woman in a shower; breasts and pubic hair are shown, although the shot is obscured by the location of the shower (on the right side of the shot it is in) and the dim lighting.
  • Two women walk into a room and start making out. Both remove their shirts, one woman still has a bra on while the bare breasts of the other is revealed. They lie down on a bed and continue kissing until they're interrupted by a man coming in. The women are later shown lying naked together in bed. This scene is fairly brief.
  • There is a scene of full nudity.
  • Extremely graphic sexual references include explicit references to anal sex and anilingus. Scenes depict incestual sex and people masturbating in the middle of a haze of drug infused violence.

Violence & Gore

  • A man has his head slammed against a floor, although we do not see the aftermath.
  • There is a scene where a pregnant woman is kicked in the stomach and then dropped on her head by another woman. another scene of brutal violence includes a gang of men beating up a man.

Profanity

  • Prolonged conversations about sex, with graphic details 29 adult jokes throughout the movie
  • One aggressive use of the word "cunt." 29 uses of "fuck" and its derivatives, most in a sexual context. Other milder profanity including 12 "ass," "bitch," 7 "shit," "slut," "whore," "damn," and "hell."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The film features some dancers snorting cocaine.
  • Graphic drug use. Explicit discussion of LSD and a graphic scene where a woman drops LSD into her eyes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • As the characters in the film experience hallucinations and descend into paranoia, induced by the drugs, some forms of disturbing behaviour are depicted.
  • There is a prolonged scene consisting of intense music and a continuous shot, with the camera flying around.
  • Stroboscopic lighting effects.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman uses a knife to cut herself repeatedly on various parts of her body and punching her belly (she's pregnant) whilst others encourage her.
  • A young pregnant woman is kicked in the stomach. Later on, she punches herself in the stomach to prove that she was pregnant (blood on her hands) and cuts herself (face and arms) as the other dancers encourage her to do so. The scene looks insanely realistic, as it's done in one take.
  • A woman is seen lying in a pool of her own blood. It is implied she committed suicide with a knife.
  • A mother locks her eight-year-old son in an empty room containing an electrical box. Later it is implied that he electrocuted himself. The mother is shown screaming and pounding at the door in grief.
  • A woman's hair is set ablaze. We see/hear her howling in pain several times, and she is seen splashing water onto her burnt scalp.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In the final shot, one of the dancers (who is implied to have been the culprit) puts several drops of LSD in her eyes.
