The Golden State Killer: It's Not Over (2018)
This here is a very interesting look at The Golden State Killer who is credited with over fifteen murders and over fifty rapes. His terror went on for a decade yet all of the sudden it came to a complete stop. This four-part documentary takes a look at the crimes as well as current investigators trying to solve who the guilty party is. For more detailed look at the episodes, check out my reviews for the individual episodes.
As far as the overall series goes, if you're a fan of crime stories then you'll certainly enjoy this documentary. It's total running time is just over 160-minutes and it held my attention throughout as I watched all four episodes in one sitting. The film does a very good job at explaining who The Golden State Killer was and why his reign of terror still hangs over the people who escaped him.
The most interesting stuff involves questions like why the crimes were being committed and how well planned out they were. Also of interest is that we get some interviews with the victims and these stories are certainly extremely creepy and it's even worse to see that they still live in fear after all of these years. They were "lucky" to survive but yet they still live with the horror that this maniac could show up again.
In a strange turn of events, a little over a month after this was released, a suspect was arrested for the crimes so it'll be itneresting to see what happens next.

It was ok. I liked it up until I realized everyone they were interviewing past the female detective in the first episode was some random guy just trying to solve it on the internet. At one point one of the Internet police was jogging on a path and saw an overhang which someone had spray painted 'creeper' and tried to relate that back to the golden state killer because he said "I don't know, maybe he's a creeper, or creeping, and this is where creepers are, and other people recognize that so he spray painted creeper here". There were a lot of other weird parts with these Internet cops. If they had just kept it facutial and purely documentary it would have been better. Plus the only way you can watch it is through ID which is one of the worst sites and apps I have ever experienced. Sooo many commercials and the show restarted a million times, which then made me have to rewatch all the commercials again just to watch this so so doc on a horrible station.

Wow, this is one of the best true crime shows.. I had to marathon watch since it's only 4 episodes.
It's about one of the most prolific serial rapist/murderers that has stalked California since the 70s through to just several years ago..
Well produced and interestingly put together,, real life events end up being thrilling scripts to follow........
and the creepazoid is still at large..
You like crime shows? This one is terrifying and horrific..
and it's still not solved..
