Literally why I Love this show
aliencodemale1 May 2019
First review...I'm 40, sci fi/fantasy is my genre as are comic books. Grew up in the Lucas/Spielberg dominated years. I was also terrorized by The Dark Crystal, Neverending Story, Labyrinth. Alien. In awe of Back to the Future. Top Gun, and then in 1989, That was the year DC released their greatest movie. Look it up, find out, and WATCH IT, YOU TIDE-PODDERS! (I do think WW was second best.) Btw, my all time favorite episode of LoT is Here I Go Again. Anyway, just setting up a rant to go on about how my obsession with DC media was set in motion 30 years ago. This show is about the heroes you don't hear about. The patsies. Like Suicide Squad, but PG family friendly, funny, and yes, corny AF. Now about the show, SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

This show was hot right away. We get to see Zari and Nate navigate around a definite attraction that's been building. We get to see Mick reveal himself to Mona and a fluttering of damsels, that he is the great (ACTUALLY GREAT!) writer of romance novels. Ray gets his hand possessed and says "this is not groovy" LOOK IT UP PLASTICS, WATCH THAT TOO. Constantine back, saves Nora, then she's inducted into the deepest depths of our heroes handlers, the Time Bureau. A lot of stuff I missed , or didn't elaborate on, like how I've been gunning for Zari and Nate, ever since I saw Here I Go Again, or how I knew Rory would reveal, and blah blah blah blah, I could talk about this one episode for many novels..really re-inspired my love for this show. I love them all, but this is my favorite CW show!!! SPOILERS

Fun episode

Not everything has to e dark like that GOT garbage show. If you don't like fun, just stay away, you don't belong here in the first place. This show is and always will be a mismatched crew of lunatics, and that's what makes it fun.

Best Season of LoT
Anonnamus2 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I have been a critic of Legends of Tomorrow since the first season, only pushing through because I'm determined to watch all Arrowverse shows. The out-of-character goofy stupidity of the usually sensible cast was increasingly difficult to watch and I couldn't even root for them against the Time Bureau when they first came on board.

This fourth season changed everything. I don't know if they hired new writers, but it's like they finally found their groove and managed to find that balance between exaggerated goofiness and development of a serious plot. The main cast have evolved into actual heroes who aren't brain-dead and come up with creative and entertaining solutions to solve a magical problem, and they no longer whine and bulldoze their way to the end like they've been prone to in the past. The writers have now bestowed the worst parts of the show in the previous seasons into Mona and Gary. Unlike Mona, Gary actually serves a purpose and although super annoying at times, he makes an attempt to be a valuable part of the team, good-naturedly (until this episode) ignoring all the condescension constantly aimed at him. I love Nora becoming a member of the team and find her a breath of fresh air, a woman with magical skills to help and what has severely been lacking throughout the previous seasons...common sense. I hope she sticks around for a long time.

My only complaint lies with Mona. Even the tone of her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, and had she not mentioned in an earlier episode that she was accepted to law school, I would honestly think she was mentally impaired. She acts like a spoiled 12 year-old girl and I cringe during most every scene she's in. I have yet to see what kind of value she can add to the team, other than being utterly annoying.

Overall, I have to give kudos to the writers of LoT. Not many television shows can pull off a story in which a Alpha male makes a deal with a demon and dies because he wanted to build a magical creature theme park for his son. What was once the bottom of the barrel show for me has quickly risen up towards the top.

Decent.

3 out of 5 stars.

The episode moves forward with the story. Putting Ray in a bad position when he gets possessed and attack the rest of his crew on the wave rider. Nate and Zari both reveal their feelings for each other. While Mick and Charlie try to imitate at a romanticon reading convention. It is a fun episode. The story makes progress. It is still forgettable.

Warning: Spoilers
Ok this episode was kind of good the Ray story line was great he loved his team mates and Nora and dis not want them to die so he gave himself to Neron that was good it gives him a good story line that he needed and seeing the actor get to play something different is cool. Now the other part Zari and Nate no one asked for that litarly fans were not begging for this and she is litterly Amayas best friend and Nate was sad about her like five minutes ago. And it came out of nowhere no build up no tension. I think they we're better off as friends.

Did Seth Mcfarlane take over?
garabedian12330 April 2019
Its all relationship drama now...ALL of it!...Mick was the only redeeming part of the episode and even that could have been done much better. This episode was terrible.

First Roy is not telling everyone he is possessed because of?....Because ...well there is no good reason. Really weak plot here. And then Nate tries to kill himself for some reason? Also really really weak plot here. He can turn into metal that is immune to bullets and knives..and yet...we have scenes where he is threatened by both and he actually decides to let himself get hurt...again...no explanation is given other than that he is a moron...But he is not a moron..the writers are just turning him into one...And the Ava drama...oh boy..I can sense a death is coming and I pray it happens before i stop watching the show all together.

Ohh and if you have been paying attention you would know that Gary and Constantine have had sex with each other..so if it was anyone else there I would buy Gary's reactions.. And the nipple thing was just too weird.

Oh My god

Warning: Spoilers
The first was terrible no Constantine, and the only people doing something is Nate and Zari, and it is a fake mission that Sara set which turned to real mission.sara on a treadmill is unlike her and reading a boring book was painful. Mick's story ok but very forgetful. Mona is soooo annoying. What Ray was doing was interesting and the best part of the episode, because Constantine was in it and barely did anything. This episode was at first god damn awful middle parts was can this get any worse, then commercial break and episode is saved by Constantine reviving Nora, Ray taking over Grey's mind and taking Constantine, Sara stop playing a mom at a book club, like I said god awful, and fighting at the end was very interesting. The other thing that was God awful that Nate just stopped steeling up when Ray punching him stupid.
