A Robot who screams and limps when it gets a shard of Rock is its thigh, then grits its teeth when it puts a bandage around it, One minute her uniform is covered in blood the next minute its spotless the the next shot its full of blood again, The Commander has a gun that fires forever and ever and ever, AND just a team of 4 people to go down onto a planet to check out if it habitable.. They fly down to the planet in something like a flying Caravan. once on the ground it looks like a Portacabin. IF you want to enjoy just 1:35 minutes of your life, DO NOT bother watching this film, I wish I had watched something else, like a recording of Grass growing..

There are so many wrong things with this movie but I think the stupid accompanying music that never stops is the worst of them all.
Pity they ruined a classic interesting sf theme

Where do i start, when you decide to make a sci fi movie the very least you can do is have decent FX, i recently saw the movie Beyond white space and its top notch, the FX where pretty good acting etc, but this movie is none of that.
The main lead is a joke, and quit unbelievable as a tough male lead, the acting looks terrible, its like they wanted to create a 80 type of feeling but missed all the point.
This movie like a lot of other sci fi very micro budget should be avoided at all cost.

Today I watched the movie "Alien Expedition", the story was good, the acting of the robot named Aurora was super excellent whereas the rest of the cast was below average especially the major and the team of special ops, apart from that the continuous music in the back ground in every scene from the company "Meteor" was super annoying and complete pain in the butt. Had there been music on appropriate places this movie should have scored well. I enjoyed the story especially the gadgetry and the dinosaur that camouflage with the rocks was a good idea. Had there been a big budget it would surely be a great hit movie of the year. Moreover, once a meteor rock hits the robot she started lingering as she forgot she is a robot and made of metal not flesh. Sound designer "Luke Gibleon" needs beating for making such a pathetic and absurd music and ruins the entire movie. I gave this movie 5 out of 10 and the reason for a lesser score was the annoying background music, which was excessively out of synchronization and timings.

It would seem my wife and I were the only people who enjoyed it. All of the points raised by the other reviews were valid but we found it enjoyable apart from the abrupt ending.

I started watching this thinking it was going to be an action sci fi, maybe one of those undiscovered gems I find once in a while made in other countries
After three minutes I became convinced I was watching a porno, so I moved on
sorry

Well, I believe it delivers everything you would be expecting from a low budget SciFi movie. The first half felt a bit too long but it picks up the pace later on.
I was suprised that there was less stupidy plotwise than compared to Prometheus or Alien Covenant. The acting for the two main characters felt solid, except for when the android forgets to be a machine at the very end.
The musical score at first felt too much and out of place, but I admit that the music itself is great. Thumbs up to whoever made the rolling credits!
Wished the movie had been longer and more conclusive as the plot had me hooked.

The story was good. The bad was the music in it. The acting was below average but still enjoy if you do not take this serious. Just watch it when you are out of movies and nothing better to do.

When a movie starts with crappy music and first scene is a couple having sex, you know the rest is going to be crap! Switched off at this point and reading rest of the reviews, don't think I was wrong!

To make things clear right off the bat, there is no personal bias against low-budget films. There never has been regardless of what people might think reading past reviews that have seen me be quite critical. There are good ones out there. 'Alien Expedition's' concept was not the best, it didn't look good and part of me did think there was a high chance it would be executed poorly, but there was something about it that semi-intrigued.
Just for the record, giving a film the lowest possible rating is incredibly rare for me these days, trying to be a fair reviewer trying to see the good in everything viewed. That rating is only reserved for films etc. that look like no effort or heart was put into it and like nobody was trying, a cardinal sin in film but actually not committed all that often in my mind. 'Alien Expedition' is one of the worst examples of this in recent memory.
Visually, 'Alien Expedition' looks incredibly cheap even for something made on a low budget. It's very drably and sometimes dizzyingly shot, incoherently edited (bacon-slicer-like) with glaring and unforgivably sloppy continuity errors and even the scenery doesn't make much impression despite being actually the least bad aspect of the film. Even worse are some of the most laughable and pathetic-looking special effects to be seen on celluloid, actually looking they were done as an afterthought and on the small remainder of the money they had left.
Can remember little about the music, which tended to be intrusive annoying, due to being used constantly and it gives one a nauseating headache, and never harmonious with what is going on, almost like it was written for something else. The dialogue is utter gibberish and truly juvenile and unnatural. How it was approved beyond first draft is beyond comprehension.
There is absolutely nothing thrilling, tense, suspenseful, emotionally investable or fun about the story. The predictability may have been forgivable if the film was actually engaging let alone exciting but it fails to be either throughout. Lets not get started on how insultingly nonsensical and ridiculous it is, things similarly are so vague and confused that coherence was also a major issue in places. Any conflict had no urgency, imagination, fun or menace at all, it was all just dull and dumb, and looked cheap.
As sort of expected, there are illogical and irritating character behaviours that makes one endear to them even less in a film with not one interesting or rootable character. There is not one halfway decent performance either, almost like they weren't even trying, with an unbearably wooden lead actor and a main actress who even for a robot character takes robotic to extremes, her attractiveness is nowhere near enough to hide that.
Summarising, a very lousy film and that is being generous. Best avoided. 1/10

This SiFi movie is having a mix of startreck, some dynasor humanoids as well as robots in a new planet fighting for existence with a misssion to find out what resources of planet are available to use. It's a mix veg soup where all ingredients are mixed up. To sell soup in a market of fast food u need more. Poor acting, poor props old 80s kind of music.

Most of the budget went on the design of the movie poster for this pile of steaming dog poo. Not even the limited nudity could save this rubbish. Stay away from this one.

Jurassic - Alien ... I reckon in America they had to go with Alien. Less of a franchise steal or whatever ... on the other hand, I am not sure what works best as title. Not that one title or the other changes anything about how the movie works ... or if it works for you at all.
I do like or have a heart for low budget movies. This did catch me a bit by surprise at the beginning. And I don't mean the love scene (though I did not expect that either), but that it almost felt like a legit B-movie ... something that might have been something a lot better I reckon ... I don't blame the actors ... I don't see too many flaws for what the movie represents ... but that doesn't mean it will find a lot of fans ... the special effects are .. well ok is the best I can offer ... again budget and all that.

The music should have been the clue we hit the stop button but like the characters in this film we blindly continued. More fool us. We began to wonder what school project had been used for the cgi and even argued as to the decade it was filmed in. I was all for 1990s and my wife bordered on the 80s so our total shock at any part of this to have been post 2015 was popcorn spitting!
The acting was about as believable as the plot. Sorry but this shouldn't have been allowed to see the light of day.
