Forgettable.

Was this terrible? No, but it was just marginally adequate & quite frankly, "average" is something UTOPIA never was as a series & equally, it's something the show should've never (ever) become. For the story to achieve anything less than a "wow" response is an abject failure & absolutely, this was an irrefutable "meh".

Even the iconic plot twist revealed itself in such a lacklustre way, epitomising the problem with Gillian Flynn's adaptation; it totally misses the mark at every given opportunity, failing to create any kind of dramatic tension or atmosphere. Everything's so flat, unengaging & unimaginative.

I can remember audibly GASPING at the final few moments of the first season of the original - because of how brutally well constructed & shocking it was... But this? Constant wasted potential. It's sad to see.

Make up your own mind after watching this 1st season.

I liked this first season a lot. Not going to start a bla-bla-bla monologue about it. It's a solid start and i hope to see a 2nd season.

So we begin here with the well wrapped package being unwrapped!!! Oh lookie, it's DR CHRISTIE!!! CHRISTIE IS PRESEENTED WITH 3 THINGS BY WILSONNS, lol, SALT, BLEACH, AND A SPOON!!!! That's how it should be imo!!!

HYDE UNWRAPS KRISTIE AND FINDS THE TATTOOS they were looking for. CHRISTIE IS MR. RABBITT!!!!

I don't know why they don't just kill him. They've found him, now kill him. Seems simple. What are they waiting for??? CHRISTIE asks them a question, how much evil do you have to do until it becomes good? It's a good question really.

Now who is this? Alice finds a pattern in the UTOPIA pages. Okay so the plan of MR. RABBIT IS STERILIZATION OF THE HUMAN RACE FOR 3 GENERATIONS.

So they decide they are going to go and raid CHRISTIE'S LAB to destroy the vaccine. CHRISTIE SAYS THEY HAVE TO TAKE HIS THUMB!! Becky cuts off CHRISTIE'S THUMB!!! LOL

+1 for Becky unceremoniously cutting off CHRISTIE'S THUMB.

LOL, AND ARBY HAS MADE A PRETTY DISPLAY OF THE BODIES HE CREATED OUTSIDE, FOR JESSICA HYDE!!

Okay this raid on CHRISTIE LABS is pretty dumb. The car entry, dumb.

-1 Star for car entry with molotovs and gas. Cheesey.

-1 Star for the Forklift demolition of the warehouse vaccine stores. Dumb.

Like even if they destroy everything in one warehouse what is that going to accomplish???

-1 Star for Ian and Becky deciding that this is a good time to make out

And then they all escape too?? LOL...This has really turned into some sort of Kids show.

Arby takes HYDE home. Home to Agent Wilner. Home to her happy Yellow House. Why does HYDE THROW UTOPIA OUT THE WINDOW??? Well anyhow, Milner has HYDE NOW, I guess we'll have to wait til next season to find out more!!!!

This Season Finale, was pretty lame because of the kid's rules raid on the Christie Labs portion. 4/10
