Sex & Nudity

  • A great deal of sexual references throughout the show.

Violence & Gore

  • Many scenes contain graphic violence, including disemboweling, a cut throat, a person impaled on a tree and a person exploding into nothingness. The grisly remains of (anmial) sacrifices are sometimes seen.
  • Scenes of violence are often very dramatic, intense, and bloody.
  • A man and a woman are kissing in a car when the woman suddenly bites on the man's lip and tears off his face. She is then grabbed from the car and thrown on the ground, where a large creature repeatedly slashes her with her claws. This is not graphic as it is seen from a distance.
  • A character is suddenly decapitated. You don't see the claws come in contact with the neck but you see the body twitching and the severed head falling onto the ground. The same creature then proceeds to attack another character and eat them off-camera.
  • A magic spell flings a character through the air, causing their head to hit the pavement and their neck to break, killing them instantly. This isn't shown but the sound of the bones breaking are heard.
  • A character sticks their hand into a blender with very gory results.
  • A major antagonist is suddenly shot in the chest. The death is both uplifting and depressing at the same time.
  • A demon pokes its head out of a portal only to have it sliced off with a long sword. The severed head then falls onto the floor.
  • A recurring character is suddenly rammed by a fast creature, who then eats them off-camera.

Profanity

  • Within the first few episodes there is a few F words
  • There is a multitude of "f" words and their variations throughout the show.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alcohol is consumed on a regular basis. One of the minor protagonists keeps a well-stocked bar and the consumption of alcohol is a regular ritual when a mission is completed.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The battle between mages and werewolves leads to many intense and frightening scenes, including graphic battles between the two factions.

Violence & Gore

  • In the end of the third episode, a major protagonist discovers that he's killed another recurring character while blacked out. The character's bloody corpse is seen with their their throat graphically torn open.
  • A character is locked in a room and is attacked by a humanoid creature, which he is forced to kill by breaking its neck. You later see the same character surrounded by dead creatures as he is killing another one by beating it to death.
  • Jack is forced to kill a student stuck in a wall by slicing his throat with a box cutter. Very bloody but not lengthy.
  • In the series finale, a major character that is both an antagonist and a protagonist is suddenly grabbed by the neck by a large creature as they are walking through a door. The creature's claws slash open a large part of their neck and throat and they are then thrown onto the ground, with the twisting of the neck breaking their neck as well. The character convulses and dies of the broken bones and slashed throat.
