The Pact

This episode features Gumball making a deal (or pact I guess) with Prinicipal Brown. They promise to help each other with their girlfriends' problems. This is one of the funniest episodes in the entire series. It's hard to even describe it as it's nothing but one hilarious bit after another. Gumball seems to have more finesse in this episode than usual. Then again, he does ultimately fail in getting to his goal.

I admit Principal Brown isn't one of my favorite characters but he worked just perfectly in this episode. Every time they set up a joke, they subvert it. Everything builds on itself and it actually does end up having meaning in the end. Maybe my favorite joke is when Principal Brown keeps getting bricks thrown through his window. Maybe it's how Miss Simian's bad breath affects everyone. It's just so hilarious you have to see it yourself. ****
