Well Done!

I couldn't predict what would happen next in this short film, and that's a very good thing. However, I can't help but predict that I'll see these actors in more films in the future. They all gave believable performances and, perhaps due to the complexity of her character's role, Toni Ann De Noble is a name I won't soon forget.

Good Dark Short Film With a Major Plot Hole Warning: Spoilers
**possible spoilers**

Plot hole is first scene inside their house where you see the husband and wife with the 2 robbers tied up the husband is literally holding the phone with the video the woman robber took of him accidentally killing the cop while trying to get the cop off him. The video from the story seems to exist only on her phone and the he is holding it. But for whatever dumb reason he just doesn't erase it right on the spot because that is the only piece of evidence linking him to the death of the cop and with it gone every thing that happens never needs to happen. Plus if I had access to erase evidence to stop me from going to jail why wouldn't I? That is the plot hole that kind of killed it for me and kind of made the rest of the movie pointless.

The acting was done well and I absolutely loved the humor and character of the woman robber. She was freaking hilarious.

Plot hole only if you don't pay attention to the plot

Warning: Spoilers
A Storybook Ending mixes tension, humor, and relevance to current police-Black community tensions without making either groups a villain. The pacing keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time, and you could see yourself in (almost) everyone's position. It doesn't take short cuts or cheat. I thoroughly loved this short.

Spoilers:

To the people who complain "why didn't they just delete the video?" they literally say: "we don't know how many copies they made," and when she does delete the video she says, "I deleted the backup too." Like, the backup on the cloud. You know, that needs a password. Which is why they couldn't "just delete the video."
