If you like Thriller with psychological Horror undertones.

I found it an average thriller, not in a bad way, with psychological Horror undertones , but the few. It is about a pair of twins where one of them wants to start a new life and the other one is not that convinced of letting go.

The guy is pretty hot by the way and this was one of the things that kept me watching apart from the mystery of not knowing exactly what was going on.

Downward Twin: Amazing this wasn't made by Lifetime

Downward Twin otherwise known as Twinsanity is a thriller that follows the Lifetime formula, I'm shocked they didn't make this.

It tells the story of two identical twins and how one tries to break away from the obsessive hold of the other. I'm sure you can tell what happens next to the letter, and yes it really is that predictable.

The twins are fantastic and deliver a great performance as does Angie Everhart who it was very nice to see up on screen again. Everyone else is passable but the plot is so generic and so color by numbers its hard to really enjoy.

No surprises, no twists, just that standard Lifetime Original formula where once you've seen one you've seen them all.

Standard harmless stuff but light on entertainment value.

Oh boy, this film felt like a made for t.v. film. First the good bits, which there are some. The twins were nice to look at, the story was okay but could have gone into more detail, the acting was hit and miss with all involved with the film. The bad bits, As my title suggests, I was waiting for something to happen, something to kick the film into drive. It just seemed to go on and on with nothing keeping you wanting to see more. The story could have gone into a bit more depth with it. So all in all the film was just okay, if the actresses want to get into acting in a bigger way then they need to start getting better scripts with more depth.

I was surprised... that someone allowed this "film" to be financed and shown to other people

I don't often write reviews, but when I have the extreme misfortune of viewing something so pathetic and worthless, I feel an obligation to do my part in making sure no other person ever has to see this again. Imagine if someone asked you to write a script in a foreign language that you don't speak, what kind of nonsensical dialogue would you come up with? Chances are you'll find it in this script. They must've saved money by having various members of the homeless community direct the "film" in exchange for drugs and sandwiches. Avoid at all costs

Lifetime For Idiots

Are you ready to have your intelligence insulted every 3 minutes? This seems to be a film from someone who has never actually seen a movie before. I mean is this really what passes for a thriller these days? I am usually all about supporting up and coming talent but not this time. I hope the film industry eats this guy alive so I don't have to sit through another piece of garbage like this again.

Not a biopic of any kind!

This flick is a typical Hollywood freak show without any editing. The writing does not tell a story, it's 90% about California hippies and yoga that almost all of you cannot follow. It should have been more about the two sisters history. The scene where one of the sisters pulls a knife on another yoga student and the yoga student gives her a hug, that's not of this world, wouldn't happen. Netflix his is what happens when you have too much money and you're not interested in satisfying your customers anymore. This is why 75% of your movies are crap!

Movie feels like an after school special and way too PG for my liking. The twins are gorgeous though so it keeps you watching. A few topless scenes would've brought my rating up to a 5/10.

One is obsessed with her sister, but the other just gives all her money to some hippy cult like guy. Both are cute as fark, I'll go with Team Red

Good twin vs evil twin

This one was a nice little surprise. Real life twin sisters play the twins in this lifetime film. A deranged and insanely jealous young woman hunts down her twin sister whom she feels abandoned her shortly after their mother dies. She also pulls off pretending to be her sister at times since nobody could tell them apart. This one has a few murders thrown in and a final showdown between the girls leaving you to wonder which twin survived and which one died.

At least cast IDENTICAL twins! Ugh.

The problem with this movie concept is if you're going to have a story where one twin goes psycho at least make sure your cast looks exactly the same, or cast one person in both roles. These two women are Sisters in real life, but they don't look identical. So when the psycho tries taking her sisters place you know right away it's not the good twin. Even down to how they walk. It's a glaring mistake. Also.... Why Angie Everhardt?

That alone made the movie very watchable. The fact they wore Yoga attire through the majority of the film even more so.

That aside though the movie isn't as bad as people say. It's straight forward but it's a story loosely based around a real life case of the "Duval" Twins. This movie felt made for Lifetime but the acting was on par with everything else so no complaints there. For some reason I wouldn't mind seeing these girls in a horror flick together. Maybe something like by the Soska Sisters.

Half an hour in, I still didn't have a clue about what the actual plot was.

I had no clue which twin was doing what. I guess that, on many occasion, onr took the other's place, but it wasn't clear.

Anyway: I didn't care.

Positive point: I was paid to watch that piece of irrelevant garbage by a tv station (I'm a promo producer). So I guess I can't say "I couldn't watch it even if they paid me!"....

But I do agree with a lot of other reviewers: the twins are really cute !

Another reviewer, obviuosly female, watched the entire movie because the "guy is pretty hot."

You know? Give me a break! That is not what you watch a movie for. Maybe a porno, but not a "horror" movie. Women like that are to be avoided, guys! They will never stop their wandering Jezebel eyes.

The movie? It was okay, and it could have been much, much better. I am a writer, and the first thing I can notice, if that is the problem, is the script writing. So many things were done and said that decreased the suspense level. And so many things weren't said that could have increased it.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Middle-of-the-road, sad movie-making and sad Jezebel reviewer, "gimailito." Grow up.

This movie is based on the real life story of the Duval twins. Very, very loosely based. I could see what they were going for, but I think a better movie would be a docu-drama of these two troubled women's lives, including the trial of the surviving sister. This movie takes parts of their lives and then proceeds to throw other murders which never happened into the mix. I give it three stars because I liked the twins who play the twins. The rest is garbage.
