True crime

I liked the way they presented the cases and they chose interesting cases to profile BUT the music is terrible! The cases held my attention so I kept With it but the music is grating and needs to be changed. It's this weird effect they do. Nails on a chalk board. I would give a higher rating without that sound!

Still A Mystery, very informative.

This crime series is about cases involving murder, suicides, missing persons, and kidnapping that are unsolved or have just gone cold. Still A Mystery series has taken old cases that we've seen in other series along with cases that are new to television. A fairly decent series that deserves to be on the Investigative Discovery channel. This series helps to keep these cases fresh and in the public eye just in case the viewer comes across a suspect, person of interest, or remembers something that could potentially help with a case. Good show all around, the narrator has a great voice that fits the show, very interesting and informative. Fair and balanced series, they give everyone involved with the story an opportunity to defend themselves on camera. I recommend that everyone watch this series and spread the word about it.

Some good stories but most is trash tv

A few of the stories seem like compelling mysteries. Quite a few are families in denial. Their loved ones lived illegal, high risk lifestyles and or were involved with drugs. Their unfortunate demise is no mystery.

Lisp

I got 2 minutes into season2 episode7,and had to change it because the narrator has a terribly annoying lisp. Why would you hire the blind lady as a tour guide?

Did the show make some of them say this line?
luckyu-208774 October 2023
I have seen some of these stories on other shows, and never have I heard some of them say "if he was white, they wold be all searching for him, or her" Almost every single minority family said this, in this show. It is almost like the show made them, or they would not cover their story. I believed this even more so when the black girl states the she does not believe it is racism but that could have played a part, out of nowhere, as if she was answering a question by producers not shared as part of the show. I am not saying this is not ever the case, and I am sure there are cases out their where this happens, or it is a mater of just not caring for the victim, but even in the same show, there were tons of stories where the victim was white, and the family states that the police failed them. Some of the stories were blaring failures to preserve the crime scene, collect evidence, take statements and the victims were white... EVEN IN THIS SHOW. My thought is most departments are either lazy or under trained.

Warning: Spoilers
This show can be tough at times. The sadness you feel for the victims can leave you heartbroken. At the same time, certain cases presented to the viewer appear to be missing information. For example, they praise Jane Doe, stating she's loved by all, no enemies, caring person, etc. Okay, I get it. But this angel you're describing was set up, and stabbed 41 times. The perp goes out of the way to use a prepaid phone, so nothing can be traced, and the crime scene is left spotless. I'm sorry, but there's no need to stab someone that many times to murder someone. It was personal. So, what was Jane Doe involved in that made someone go to this degree of murder?

Another example, a family stated that if it were a "white man" there would've been helicopters searching all over the area for him. Now, I understand, not all authorities act in the proper manner. But do you know how many "white men" go missing and receive the exact same treatment? Sure, the family is upset, their loved one has been abruptly, viciously, taken away from them and human instinct immediately looks to find a person to blame. It seems no one on this show understands that when we do stupid acts, at times, there will be consequences and those consequences can be deadly. If a body shows no signs of physical harm that could kill a person, why would you still go after someone that is innocent? Just because it will make you sleep better at night? Trust me, it won't. If the evidence does not fit the crime, was there truly a crime committed or did an unfortunate accident take place? I know these shows do what they must to keep the ratings up. But it's sad when they try to insult your intelligence just for more views.
