If you could choose your own AI twin brother, who would it be?
The good and the bad twin concept could be symbolic of the yin-yang duality that exists in every person, as a nod to Robert Louis Stevenson's; Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
The perfect use of the so called "breen-screen" really transports the viewers to an amazing world where everything is possible. Usually I am a supporter of practical effects but Neil Breen reinvents the techniques and makes all the other special effects filled motion pictures of the past 30 years obsolete.
Breen gives the metaphorical finger to the status quo and is not afraid of exposing hard truths.
To every marvel fan, watch this movie!!!

This is on the level of a Bad Movie. I mean I could follow the story - what is weak -, was not bothered by the ridiculous dialogue, and the film as far as I'm concerned lacked the previous NB-productions' horrid editing mess.
Sure, the AI-theme led nowhere, the acting is nonexistant, the effects are stock-stupid, and the whole thing is amateurish, but kudos where kudos due, it is (almost) on the level of The Room. And in the end I appreciate the effort,even if this was not the most enjoyable, or most defined movie of NB. Pass Thru was a propaganda-film by design, and my fav. was I Am Here....Now, which followed the designes of a religious movie, though it confused me that it didn't promote religion but the format was there.
So, in the end, I seriously thought this was not some incoherent rambling, and wish Neil keep following his dream, because I Am Here.

So, while I do think the concept of rating terrible movies based on the entertainment level of the movie itself is fun and totally fine, bogus reviews for this movie are just... annoying. But let's make some things really clear. This movie is terrible, and very amateurish made. The story is confusing, simple example of when not talented and educated people go smart and philosophical. The acting is amateurish at best, CGI is below incompetent and actually any other aspect of the movie is bad. There is, of course, a lot of effort and heart putted in this. Neil is a phenomenon, whether you like him or not. He really is one of the most important directors for this so-bad-its-good sub-genre. HOWEVER, almost all of the reviews here are dishonest and I really cannot stand it. Almost all of the profiles are made only to review this movie, and they either give praise, or make fun of it, but still giving it a perfect 10. No, this movie is not 10 even on the adjusted scale for s-b-i-g movies. I cannot believe imdb lets this kind of things happen. For that reason, I am giving this movie score it deserves much more than a 10.

When I first discovered my savior Neil Breen through his early work, it was the second coming of Jesus. Twisted Pair has everything you want in a film: a camera, a setting, actors that are playing characters, and best of all Neil Breen.

Neil Breen has come a long way since his debut back in the mid-2000s. While his features Double Down (2005), I Am Here...Now (2009) got him on the road, it was Fateful Findings (2013) that got people talking about him. Since then, his reputation has inflated to bigger proportions. His next film Pass Thru (2016) was an even bigger success, which has led us to this. Twisted Pair (2018) is by far Mr. Breen's most ambitious project to date. It's apparent that Breen truly has a passion for what he does, but his ambition can only go so far. Every single one of his features have all had similar topics of discussion and this one is almost no different from before. The only real change displayed is the visual style, but that's it.
The plot to this film of Breen's is about as nonsensical as the rest that came before it. Neil Breen plays a set of twins Cade and Cale Altair. Both were given extraordinary powers at a young age. One was able to excel with their power, while the other became corrupt with it. One does his best to help others, while other acts as a vigilante to "help" others his own way. The rest is very much the same kind of subplots, There's drama between the twins and their respective significant others, there's deception among the public with wealthy figures and super human feats shown. These are all the usual tropes Breen has resorted to for all his other features and it's beginning to get old. What made Fateful Findings (2013) entertaining was that it felt like the point of which Breen perfected his talent of bad film making.
Here though, it feels like he went into hyper mode and amplified it to where the spectacle is just boring. With similar things happening in every film he makes, the charm is beginning to wear thin. The bland acting by the cast is no longer amusing. About half the dialog is Neil Breen doing voice over narration and even some dubbing over certain scenes he very well could have just recorded initially. The rest of the cast is even more forgettable. Sara Meritt who plays Alana, the good brother's wife is no different from past love interests. And Denise Bellini who plays the agency director in charge of the good brother for his missions is dull. There's even a muse (Ada Masters) who flies around spreading magic dust. For what reason, it's never given.
Padding is still as atrocious as usual. There's loads of scenes that drag on with pauses longer than needed. Breen's script repeats several lines throughout his film. In consecutive order no less, so that gets annoying. There's scenes with people doing the exact same action they were doing earlier or later in the story. Responses don't feel connected or timed properly with the events going on around them. It just feels extra lazy with all the rip-offs Breen pulls from his other films. The story also has trouble trying to put together what antagonist to focus on. The evil twin or the actual character who's evil enough to have his voice distorted almost to the point where their lines are inaudible. The visuals are really the only strong point to this feature.
Of all of Breen's features, this has the most action in it. And while the action itself is also very lame, it's the first time he has actual explosions going off. John Mastrogiacomo is finally serving as Breen's cinematographer and for the most part, it is shot decently. Being that this is Breen's first film with no day scenes, it is certainly a different setting. There are no desert scenes and nothing involving computers surprisingly. This is also Breen's first time using green screen effects, which in some cases look better than expected for his regular standard of filming. Music though was still disappointing with much of the cues being cycled over and over with hard bass blasts that make scenes more intense for no reason. He's obviously trying but his focus is all off.
It may be Neil Breen's biggest film production, but the interior quality of it is possibly more lackluster than his prior efforts. There's less unintentional comedy and more boring things. The only aspect that stands out are the visuals because it's never been done in any of his other films.

Where do I begin with this... film? What the hell did I watch? This movie is just... *what*? Even though I've seen it, I don't think I can tell you what it's about. Well, OK, it's about a man who has a twin brother and they're both played by Neil Breen. One of them has a fake beard and a fake moustache. I think he's a... drug addict? The other brother... works for the government? And I think he's in love with... a woman he's related to? Yeah, I don't know. There are three or four men who are kidnapped by one of the brothers and they're tortured. Why? Because they're... corrupt businessmen or politicians? There's a man who talks with a deep modified voice, like someone being interviewed on camera who's identity is being protected. Why the hell is that guy talking like that? I think he's intended to be evil because... actually, I don't think I can explain.
"Twisted Pair" is just baffling, not to mention amateurish. There are explosions in the film, but they're just really bad special effects and it never looks like an explosion is actually happening. I could've probably made those explosion effects if I didn't care. I mentioned the fake beard and the fake moustache. (They look really fake.) There are times when Breen jumps from one place to another like he has a superpower for that. Guess what? His jumping also looks really fake. I *can* say legitimately positive things about the film. There's a scene with a moving painting and the painting looks great, although I don't know if it was made for this movie. Breen made the movie. Did he get that painting from somewhere else? Did he also get the film score from somewhere else? Well, whether he did or didn't, the music sounds very good. It sounds like music you hear in a Hollywood movie.
Scenes just come and go in this film. There will be a scene and then it ends. There will be another scene and then it ends. How's the acting? Well, it's mostly pretty bad. (Big shock.) A lot of the actors are like aliens who are trying to act like they're humans. The only other Neil Breen film I've seen is "Fateful Findings". His acting in that movie is very similar to his acting in "Twisted Pair". By the way, "Fateful Findings" is a more coherent film than this one. Yeah.
So... did I enjoy "Twisted Pair"? Actually, yes. I absolutely loved it. I was laughing *a lot*. I saw the film in a theatre with many other people and they were also laughing a lot. Some people at the end even gave it a standing ovation, including me. This movie might actually be funnier than "The Room" (2003). I dunno. Both movies are so bad they're great. I also really like "Fateful Findings". I think "Twisted Pair" is perfect for a bad movie night with friends. If you see it, you'll probably be left feeling very confused, but hopefully you'll be entertained.

Neil Breen movies have been called exciting, thrilling, intense and perfect by people that have never actually seen them and possibly Neil Breen's mother.
The truth of the matter is they're amateurish in every sense of the word. But that's what's so amazing about them. You have to stop and just admire the dedication this man has to making movies. These truly are coming from a man who is passionate about making films. It's a shame he's not very good at them but what do you expect? He's never taken an acting, directing or writing course and he's made about 5 movies so far. Most of the hype he's gotten is from weirdos like myself who love bad movies and his movies are terrible in all the right ways.
Neil is always the star. The guy that can't act or deliver his lines in a believable way but that adds to the charm.
In this he plays twin brothers, meaning double the Breenius, who become AI entities and in turn use their abilities and knowledge to help mankind. It's along the lines of his other movies where Neil plays an almost messianic figure. He's trying to stamp out corruption, take on evil politicians and generally make the world a better place.
It's everything we love about Neil with the same stilted dialogue, the same unnatural acting and the really odd situations that just seem to happen along the way. But now, there's two of him. How can you not love this man?

Neil Breen is either a GENIUS or SO DELUSIONAL that he can't see that his "films" are complete comedy GOLD,and NOT even REMOTELY worthy of being taken seriously! I'm going to guess the latter on that one because I heard the Breenster himself say that he wants his "films" shown at normal theatrical run times (like 7:00 or 8:00pm) and NOT to be shown as a "Midnight Movie". Well...I'm gonna to take a stab that not many "normal" people are going to shell out hard earned money to watch these incoherent "films" at normal theater run times. I'm also gonna take a stab that he would make MORE money showing these "films" at MIDNIGHT when buzzed up people want to have a good laugh,and yell back at the screen. I know I WOULD! The ONLY WAY I would PAY to watch one of his "films" (aside from FREE) is going with a bunch of my peeps at midnight,and having a HOOT watching complete nonsense for two hours! Might as well make a party out of the viewing.

"This is very serious." Yes indeed, it is and in a stern manner.
How fitting that Breen sits in a cinema in this movie - probably his own movie - and he's the only one in the movie house. The irony.
Most of the movie is Breen screened, I mean green screened.
Those prop rats are just made of rubber and not even real.
"That girl I met earlier, I'm going to follow her." Yer, prove that you're a creep. Is Breen some sort of cult leader? He has that loony heir of grace about him to attract Manson-like devotees.
This home invasion/assault scene is flat out creepy & disturbing. "You're mine! You can't resist me now!"
Armed hold ups; abductions and captured business men in chains? This quote from the chained up business man is golden, "I knew this was gonna come back to b -" To b what? Poor editing.
This is dark natured & disturbing. (And yes, I'm watching this as I write all this down.)
Cop spots a pink needle, "Wait, what did I just see?" Oh great, exposition! Is this Star Wars 9? It's a wonder he didn't say, "It's a hypodermic."
Do you even know what you're doing in your own movies, Breen?
Violence against women eh, Breen? Love the brutal impact sound effects when he slaps that lady. (Are you using Microsoft movie maker?)
Breen wouldn't happen to be a former Devo member by any chance, would he?
I fear that if you watch enough Neil Breen movies you may be tempted to join some special group and drink the tainted Cool Aid which now comes in 5 new delicious flavors.
This is just boring and void of any interest!
What's with the flash of light whenever you enter most doors, Breen? A Sixth Sense reference? Oh man, I'm 1 hour and 4 minutes into this atrocity and I thought it was over but there's still 24 minutes to go. (Lord grant me a pardon for my wicked sins.)
Even that eagle scene was green screened and recycled. Or was it a falcon? The war-torn ran shackled apartment building scenes with the army guys looked like it was filmed in East Detroit. The restaurant just looked like the side of a cinema. The Chaos headquarters resembles a college. Thinks he's super Mario Brothers jumping around all the pipes. The villains name in this is hilarious and you can't understand one word it says. I can't help but to compare Breen to either Ron Moss or the lead singer from System of a Down with that silly beard. None of the actors, not even Breen himself, are given any lines to work with. And can any of you people in this movie show some enthusiasm please? Is that out of the realms of possibility?

I can say, with absolute certainty, that I've never seen a film quite like Twisted Pair before. This was an introspective, psychological thriller that explored the fine line between morality and corporate greed. Weaving gracefully throughout touchy subjects such as Artificial Intelligence and Programmable Virtual Reality (The Corrupt Version), this film will make you question everything you thought you knew about cinema.
While the acting ensemble is exactly what you'd expect from a Neil Breen quality film, Breen himself stood out amongst the star-studded cast. Only the greatest actors of our generation like Tyler Perry, Jack Black, and Nicholas Cage have been able to tackle the tumultuous challenge of playing multiple roles in one film. Breen didn't only meet, but he exceeded all possible expectations.
Without spoiling the film, Breen played two brothers, who split apart by fate, ended up taking very different life paths. Light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong. Breen captured the individual essence of both brothers and gave them distinct, individual voices.
For a film with a budget of only $50,000, you couldn't ask for better special effects. Filled with explosions, daring stunts, and intense fight scenes, this film included much more action than the usual Breen-flick. However, it still managed to keep the heart-filled message that corporate greed can be solved easily by chaining up important businessmen in your basement and shooting them intermittently throughout the best hour and 29 minutes of your life.

I have never in my life had more fun in a movie theater. This was such an experience. I couldn't spoil this movie for you if I tried, because it's been almost a week since I've seen it and I still don't know what happened. If you can catch a theatrical screening, do so. You won't regret it.

Whats with all the 10/10 reviews? I can only think that Neil Breen himself is doing these 10/10 reviews or that every one on here is drunk or high or are just taking the pi$$! Worst trash i have ever seen even by Neils standards absolute trash! Never seen so much stock footage in one production! WORST FILM EVER. 1/10 to bad i cant give it -10/10

This 1.5 hour magnificent wonder is truely Neil's best work so far. Breen eloquently combines beautiful cinematography, incredible acting, and moving music. The film explores complex topics such as artificial intelligence, corporate greed and corruption, heartfelt romance, and betrayal. The film contains multiple nods to Breen's other movies, and directly references "Pass-thru" in one of the more memorable scenes. The special effects and CGI were groundbreaking, and Neil's editing talents truely shined. The film imbues the audience with zesty approval, and a need to explore Breen's work further. Neil entices the audience to dive deeper into the "Twisted Pair" universe with his unusual mystique. Furthermore, the nonstop action kept the audience at the edge of their seats, eyes glued to Neil, as he risked his life to defeat the forces of evil, and reconcile with his long lost brother. This film will go down in history as one of the all time greats. Well worth the ticket price!

Justice will be Served! Twisted Pair is the classic tale of two identical twin brothers, one good and one evil, who are also AI (Artificial Intelligence) humanoid hybrids, from maybe the future, using superior science to serve justice against the world's corrupt CEO businessmen. Each in their own way, or maybe on their own terms - I really do not know. Either way Justice will be served. Also, the evil twin brother has a fake beard. But, is he really evil or just serving his own brand of justice?
Filmmaker Neil Breen is an auteur. Being an auteur has no correlation to the reception of one's work. Neil Breen films are easily identifiable as Neil Breen films in both their themes and style. Twisted Pair is Breen's latest film to which Breen has taken on the roles of director, writer, producer, lead actors, and editor. As well as handling make-up, production management, set designer, sound editor, lighting design, casting manager, location manager, music director and finally delivering exceptional craft services.
I mean this unironically. Neil Breen films are absolutely fascinating which stems out of inability to decipher if these are earnest creations from a filmmaker or a fifteen year Andy Kaufman(esq) character troll. Every interview plays completely straight. To paraphrase multiple Breen statements "..these are not midnight movies. These are real films." But to watch a Neil Breen film with its bizarre compositing of effects over stock footage, the nonstop usage of voice over exposition and Breen's characters always being divine beings of good - one must wonder if Breen isn't in on the joke. Or is he? I do not know! It is in this chasm of unknown confusion I find a real sense of wonder around this auteur.

Twisted Pair is the classic tale of two identical twin brothers, one good and one evil, who are also AI (Artificial Intelligence) humanoid hybrids, from maybe the future, using superior science to serve justice against the world's corrupt CEO businessmen. Each in their own way, or maybe on their own terms - I really do not know. Either way Justice will be served. Also, the evil twin brother has a fake beard. But, is he really evil or just serving his own brand of justice?
Filmmaker Neil Breen is an auteur. Being an auteur has no correlation to the reception of one's work. Neil Breen films are easily identifiable as Neil Breen films in both their themes and style. Twisted Pair is Breen's latest film to which Breen has taken on the roles of director, writer, producer, lead actors, and editor. As well as handling make-up, production management, set designer, sound editor, lighting design, casting manager, location manager, music director and finally delivering exceptional craft services.
I mean this unironically. Neil Breen films are absolutely fascinating which stems out of inability to decipher if these are earnest creations from a filmmaker or a fifteen year Andy Kaufman(esq) character troll. Every interview plays completely straight. To paraphrase multiple Breen statements "..these are not midnight movies. These are real films." But to watch a Neil Breen film with its bizarre compositing of effects over stock footage, the nonstop usage of voice over exposition and Breen's characters always being divine beings of good - one must wonder if Breen isn't in on the joke. Or is he? I do not know! It is in this chasm of unknown confusion I find a real sense of wonder around this auteur.

I am really concerned about IMD ratings now... Worst film I've ever saw. And believe me, I always pick movies 6 and above to watch. This one is 2, 3 at best! what is going on? I am sad because now I feel the rating is broken or somehow was "hacked". This is not right... don't believe me, watch and see for yourself..
