I will be realistic and remain unbiased. I will avoid spoiling it. My experience watching this anime is that I have enjoyed watching the sword art online series. However, they could have worked more on the title. Here is why: the anime is focused on this virtual technology reality. Virtual reality technology has advanced in that world. Although, the anime is titled Ruined because the title suggests that the anime is focused on the type of VR game about sword skills and technique in a fantasy world. The reason is that the anime focuses on introducing multiple technologies that are combined with virtual reality or enhanced. Therefore, it does not matter about the genre of the game. That was the problem with this anime. Over the quality of this anime, I have loved the style of each character and the way they upgraded the drawing style of each character. When it comes to the story, the story was interesting. Although, I can note a slight improvement in the story.

Your Anime Sucks Sword Art Online II: An irrational childish vendetta?

I'm binge watching all things Sword Art Online and came across this with absolutely no knowledge of what I was about to witness. Created by Youtuber Digibro it's a 4 episode "Show" ranting about Sword Art Online.
Are we talking fan? fanboy? passionate anime lover who adores the show and wanted the world to know? Quite the opposite actually.
As you can probably guess from the "Your Anime Sucks" title the creator is not a fan, in fact that's somewhat putting it lightly. When a person takes this much time to create a 4 episode series telling the world how much he hates something, that he loves hating it and trying rationalize why then it's quite the hatred.
Now I liked SoA season 1 even though the quality nosedived about 12 episodes in and they squandered the entire concept. Season 2 which is what this show is essentially about I thought was watchable at best.
Digibro breaks it down episode to episode near scene to scene and brings down his personal criticisms which I found to be *Drumroll* really quite inane. I mean I think personally making a show like this is inane by definition but none of his points really have much weight behind them. I'm highly critical of the show and the direction it's gone, but the rational logical criticisms aren't the things he seems to address instead focusing on petty gripes almost as if he's desperately reaching in his attempt to hate it so very badly.
I don't understand the creators logic on any front, but whether your a fan or also highly critical of the show I don't see the entertainment value here in the remotest.
