On half of the glowing reviews here, they are all by people who have been a member for a day and have reviewed precisely ONE movie and you guessed it...this one.

This was an amateur movie in all aspects and not scary at all. The kid was wooden acting and clearly a small budget.

I was intrigued where the story was going but disapointed with the end. i wish it was another 15 minutes longer and i got more answers but what can u do.

I beg you, please don't waste your time watching this - definitely the worst movie I've seen. Save 73 minutes of your life and watch a proper movie.

Simone policano is one f the main reasons to see this film.She's jsut perfect.The strange tone and odd structure made this for me daring and adventurous.It's a real art-house mindbender.Those other negative reviews are the individuals who line up 4 hours ahead for every damn marvel movie.

This was the biggest waste of my time. My lady and I were annoyed , hoping that at some point there would be a plot twist and not a full movie made for us to assume. And then the ending with the child walking with the lady made absolutely no sense. If i would have paid to watch this I would leave obscene gestures but thank heavens I did not. This money should be banned from every app or platform. Omri please try again and do not give us this piece of crack. I've been upset by crappy movies but this takes the cake. And it was so bad I'm writing my first review.

Don't even bother looking forward to a good ending...or an ending at all it just seems they cut it halfway through the movie and called it good.

If you read reviews here you will encounter some higher rating ones, just because the author thinks that he is smart enough to understand this.

However, the movie doesn't deliver anything and the script is a mess. No deeper meaning, nothing to understand, just bad execution with poor writing. That's all!

Switched off after 23 minutes. So boring nothing happens terrible writing and directing

I jumped into this movie with a friend expecting a okay horror film, but boy was it bad! not to mention at least 25-30 minutes of it was music with slow motion camera panning on the same scenes over and over, the dialogue was boring as fudge and just throughout the whole movie, I wanted to stop! being a hour and 13 minutes long you expect at least more than 50 minutes of dialogue but you don't even get that. Skip this movie if you can!

I do not find it helpful when people say "if you didn't like x movie, you just didn't understand it!" In this case, though, I must say that if you're writing reviews about "This Is Our Home" that include the phrases "nothing happens" or "there's no story," you didn't understand it. It's not going to be to everyone's taste, but to say there's no story or no point is demonstrably wrong.

The film is slow to be only 73 minutes, but it's deeply creepy throughout. The first half or so is dedicated to character development, so that we can understand what causes this couple to behave the way they do. The child is incredibly unsettling, and the way the overall situation spirals out of control once he appears is truly upsetting. It's primarily the horror story of a troubled relationship between a spoiled manbaby and a resentful woman: if that doesn't appeal to you, by all means, don't watch this. If you like character-driven, atmospheric horror movies that ask you to engage with the themes and emotions being presented, you can't go wrong here. If you don't, I'm sure there's a Jason movie streaming somewhere.

If you gave this movie a bad rating..you have no brain or imagination. This movie was very original,suspenseful and creepy. Great soundtrack also...Some people have no business rating movies like this style of movie. Very enjoyable movie!

Thats 30 minutes of life stolen from me.. it tries too hard and the responses to various situations are forced and unnatural...

Watched this last night, and I can say for certain that I have lost precious time that i will never get back!! I have no idea how this is getting high ratings off of some people, saying that they were on edge? This is officially the worst film I have ever sat through and watched.

The plot didn't make any sense. Most scenes were music and no dialogue - pointless!! There were so many scenes where you would think would relate to something nearer the end of the film .. but they didn't at all. It just didn't make sense and was all over the place. PLUS, the acting was absolutely terrible. I would rate this 0 if i could.

Worst movie I've seen, there is no story and you don't know its only about sexual or horror. I WASTED MY TIME FOR NO REASON.

This had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Short and sweet and creepy as hell!!! Reminded me of The Omen meets Babadook kind of, also great actors. Want to know where they got this kid!

I have NEVER written a review before. But I felt compelled to do so because of the poor/low ratings. I'm glad I didn't listen to the low ratings because this is a very good movie. It's not a movie with guts and gore, it's a movie you have to use your brain to enjoy it. There are times where I just want a movie where I don't have to think and then there's other times I like movies that I have to use my brain to enjoy. This is one of those psychological thrillers, but is very creepy at the same time. Give this movie a try, you won't be disappointed!

This had to be one of the worst movies I have ever watched. There really wasn't any plot, I do give them credit to try and make this a horror movie but leave horror movies to the professionals. The hideous little boy was just tiresome to watch plus his voice was eww, they couldn't find a better child actor? Not really sure who are the people reviewing this movie because I saw where the reviews said it was an awesome or great movie, apparently they were not reviews for this movie. If I had seen this in the movie theater, I would have asked for a refund. Save yourself some time and forget this movie.
