Answer to review about "Christian bashing"
lbcindy7 January 2021
This show has repeatedly reflected a positive attitude about Christianity, and one episode that has some "awful people" who demonstrate hatred is unfortunately true to life. (Not that everything in this episode was true to life, but it is TV, after all.) I like the way it is all tied together with an ideal that there are some good people out there as well.

Do these people watch their own show?

A woman moves across the country and changes careers to avoid an abusive ex, and yet she completely ignores a woman who is threatening and stalking her. Riiiiiight.

Love the episode

Absolutely love the episode but hate the reference to Christians. Those stupid Westboro church people are NOT Christians. Do NOT lumps all together. Other than that this episode is a 10. Love that they pull emergency calls from all over the US.

Stop pushing Jennifer's character
rayray859817 October 2018
I was extremely disappointed in the last 2 episodes. They are focusing way too much on maddie and the 911 center than on what people want to see. I know with Abby gone they're trying to recapture that aspect of the show but they're going to lose viewers real fast if they keep that up

Awful People? More like awful writing
Barry016923 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The writing in this episode was just not up to par and was lazy. So, Gloria has hung up on thousands of callers and yet this never showed up in her monitoring? None of her co-workers ever heard her rude behavior to people? Her short calls would have shown up on reports as well. So, basically, nothing about this was believable. Focus on the stories, not on trying to make Jennifer Love Hewitt interesting.

The episode was good, until they somehow magically proved...
petasorbate16 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
That the 911 dispatch responder did indeed hang up intentionally, due to gross negligence on the victim who called. This happens all the time at dispatch centers, and it involves a review of the dispatcher's history's statistics, and department review. The fact that two police officers dragged her off, completely makes this show unauthentic. I know that a lot of this show can be hyperbolized, but I guess every episode and wrong needs to be concluded, with no sense of good writing. But at least they showed what does happen. Also, if she was crazy enough to admit it, and let people suffer, then perhaps she needs some mental evaluation.

Oh, and when someone attempts to commit suicide, the department of social services becomes a major factor, that can precede their parole. Also, the woman is not likely to have a strong impetus to want her children back, as she gave them up when they were born. The Oxytocin didn't have a long term memory effect, with the bonding of the children, that she never raised.

Christian bashing, Hollywood style
cjwsbw6 November 2018
There are plenty of people who are not Christians that protest military funerals, yet Hollywood blatantly set Christians front and center as the evil ones protesting. This group was obviously based on the ultra-conservative Westboro Baptist Church nut-jobs who hide behind a veil of Christianity to spread their hate. They are not respected by true Christians who understand that hate, violence, and prejudice is NOT the answer.
