Envious of her best friend Mia's new relationship, 17-year-old Chelsea Wilson begins chatting with someone named Brad via text message. Brad convinces Chelsea to send him a picture of her wearing her sister Kristina's cheerleader uniform.

Three Weeks Later - Having grown closer through their text conversations, Brad invites Chelsea to meet in person at a warehouse Halloween party. Brad suggests that Chelsea dress up as a zombie cheerleader. Disguised as a zombie quarterback wearing a helmet, Brad gives Chelsea a drugged drink outside the party, abducts her, and imprisons Chelsea in his basement.

Brad insists that Chelsea assume the name Sadie. Chelsea meets Brad's brainwashed captives Meagan and Heather, who also wear cheerleader uniforms and go by the name Sadie. It is later revealed that Brad became obsessed with his foster sister Sadie, who slit her own throat after Brad killed their mother believing he and Sadie could be together. Meagan and Heather teach Chelsea the rules of Brad's OCD household while also dismissing Chelsea's ideas about escaping.

Chelsea discovers Brad also holds Tina Morelli captive. Pregnant with Brad's child, Tina tried escaping only for Brad to savagely beat her. After losing her baby, Tina now lies bedridden from infected wounds that threaten to kill her without proper medical attention.

Brad rapes Heather, who has been imprisoned for three years. Believing Brad will finally let her leave after her performance, Heather does a cheerleading routine in Brad's basement. Brad ends up killing Heather with a knife while recording her death with an elaborate VR headset to simulate Sadie.

Chelsea tries breaking through Meagan's brainwashing. Meagan insists Brad is in love with her and warns Chelsea not to interfere.

Tina convinces Chelsea to help euthanize her by stealing painkiller pills from Brad. When Brad finds Tina's door lock tampered with, he begins suffocating Tina with a pillow. Chelsea interrupts. Fulfilling Tina's wish, Chelsea suffocates Tina instead, which earns Brad's trust.

Brad shows Chelsea his VR recording of Heather's death. Chelsea plays along with Brad's delusions as he plots to murder Meagan as his next Sadie stand-in. Brad also rapes Chelsea.

Chelsea warns Meagan that Brad plans to kill her. Still brainwashed, Meagan snitches to Brad that Chelsea is plotting against him. Brad locks the girls in their rooms.

Through their shared wall, Chelsea pleads with Meagan that they need to work together to escape. Meagan demands that Chelsea provide proof that Brad is a murderer.

The two girls sneak into Brad's computer suite. Chelsea shows Meagan the VR video of Heather's murder. Brad catches the girls snooping.

Brad imprisons Chelsea in the basement and assaults her. Meagan breaks out of her room to come to Chelsea's defense. The two girls viciously beat Brad with his VR headset and escape the house. Chelsea calls her family after she and Meagan flag down bystanders for help.

Chelsea begins attending therapy with Doctor Hunts. Brad is committed to an asylum where he hallucinates Sadie's ghost tormenting him. Meanwhile, two 13-year-old girls begin playing into another online predator's trap. (thanks to culturecrypt)
