- There is no physical violence in the entire film, but there are sequences of great terror and suspense.
- One of the girls put her arm through the windowless door to a locker of some kind and then suddenly something grabbed her arm and tugged on it. She ends up with three long scratches like fingernails. This freaks out almost everyone.
- Outside of the building and with Ji-hyun possessed and talking gibberish, her friend Charlotte, still freaking out as she walked backwards and then suddenly a white light and you can see Charlotte's hair slowly rising up in the hair and taking her with it. In a different seen you will see Charlotte hung to death by her scarf in another room.

- The film contains some use of the expletive "f*ck" in the English subtitles.

- Filmed in the style of reality TV, the participants are equipped with action cameras that capture footages from their perspectives, adding a sense of realism to the film. As the film progresses, there is a build-up of tension as the supernatural occurrences intensify in frequency and the characters interact directly with the entities.
- Coupled with numerous jump-scare scenes where doors slam suddenly, or objects fall to the ground, the sense of lingering and sustained threat is intensified.
- In one sequence out in the woods, Ji-hyun's eyes suddenly turn black and this scares Charlotte more and also Ji-hyun speaking gibberish and that might freak out some people. This is one spooky scene.
- Jump scares count: 5.
- Towards the end of the movie, two people standing outside of Room 402 and using a saw to open the door when Sung hun who woke up and rain up to them and told them what happened. The next thing you hear would be the ping-pong and then you see coming out of nowhere the ping-pong... this is a jump scare moment.

Violence & Gore
- A woman's arm is pulled into a box and her arm is scratched, some blood shown.
- Charlotte hung by her neck with her scarf from the rafters in the room where we first saw the group and where we saw Charlotte's scarf flying up in the air. This you don't see Charlotte being hung up...this was off camera. Every character dies including Ha Joon; who wanted to make money off this video adventure.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- At one point, one of the characters is trapped in a pitch black room with nothing but a small flashlight while a naked disfigured man moves very slowly toward her. This scene is very prolonged and extremely scary.
- One freaky scene is where Ha-joon is looking over film footage and found thing odd in spot. He spotted six of his friends standing around talking with one guy looking back at the camera. The next thing, you see the cup falling onto the ground and lights go off in the tent.
- Towards the end, when the captain of the show searches for his friends, an entity floats in air and slightly nudges the captain from the back. There's no music, the silence combined with the fear in the captain's face is very scary to watch. The entity then slowly turns, this is a jump scare moment.
