Mika, the antiquities dealer, tells Misty that the bowl was part of a larger collection from a man named Professor Ernst Erskine. Dr. Abraham Erskine was the doctor who created the Super Soldier Serum and picked Steve Rogers to be the first test subject.
When Joy visits Davos, he is shown using a muslin bag atop a stack of masonry blocks in his training. This kind of setup is used in the kung-fu discipline "Iron Palm." In the actual training, the bag is filled with steel shot, placed atop a solid surface, such as the bricks, and the exercise involves striking the bag repeatedly in a number of precise ways with the hand being trained (only one hand is trained in this discipline). Before striking the bag, the student applies a special salve to the hand that aids in the training and prevents injury that would normally result from hitting a bag of steel shot over and over. The composition of the salve varies from school to school, and the recipes are generally closely-guarded secrets known only to senior instructors and the most trusted senior students.
The title is taken from Marvel Premiere #25 (1975).
